Are you sure that the ECM was the problem??? Did you get the correct one for your eagal?? This is what you have to be sure of first. Did you reset the computer? Remove the battery cable and wait a few secounds and then reattach it.
there is actually no problem. it sputters because the engine has to start up and it may be the way you place the key inside the ignition. so don't worry because it isn't a big problem

You will need to determine if is a spark problem or a fuel problem then take it from there.
probably the starter at least that is where I would start at anyway. I had the same problem but after so long the car would crank and I was told the starter but have not had problem again.
HI. not to sound like a wise a##. were the hoses internal to the tank tightened securely? the fuel lines to the rail and the return line may not be on correctly, or have debris in the orifice. also check the vapor hose. reset the inertia switch...check the fuel pump relay..possible bad fusible link. Start with obvious first...pump connections, etc. a good wiring diagram is welol woirth it..and work backwards with the signal flow
The problem with the Nissan Elgrand if it does not start when the switch is on could be a mechanical problem.
The problem has overcome now, as such at present there is no problem to start this project.
