If the reservoir is blocking the way, then it will have to be removed.
The blower motor is located above the passenger foot well inside the dashboard below the glovebox. I recently changed my blower for $230. it is not that difficult. I understand the dealer charges much more. It is accessed from the panel above the footwell. With a phillips screwdriver remove two screws holding the panel in. pull the panel down and towards the passenger seat. (you can leave the light wire attatched and lean the cover against the transmission hump. Now you will need a Torx driver to remove 5 torx screws holging the blower cover in place. Disconnect the electrical connection to the fan blower where it meets the blower box. Use the same torx drive to remove the 4 torx screws holding the blower in place. My Haynes manual shows it under the passenger's side dashboard, near the firewall. It looks like there's a bundle of wires running to it from the switch and the blower motor itself.
You will need to remove the inside door panel of your Mustang. Remove the linkage from the outside door handle. Remove the outside door handle retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new outside door handle.
Trunk open, remove the 4 wing nuts on the casing. The casing will pull off from the outside. The bulbs are in there.

open trunk, remove the 4 wing nuts, remove the casing from the outside. Bulbs are in there.
The blower is just under the passenger side dash. There are three 9/32" bolts that hold the casing up. Remove those and unplug the blower. Then the blower should be able to fall right out. May need to "jimmy" it a bit to get it out. When you get the new blower, plug it in and turn on the air before you install it, that way you can make sure that it will work.
Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 2001 Chevrolet Corvette blower motor. Remove the blower motor retaining bolts. Remove the blower motor fan. Reverse the process to install the new blower motor.
Should be the same as the '96. From inside the trunk there are 3 maybe 4 wing nuts on the inside of the light casing. Remove them and the whole light casing comes off from the outside. There are the bulbs.

It is on the lower passenger side under the dash/glovebox. Remove the cover over the blower, remove 4 bolts and blower will drop out.
Right behind the glove box. Remove the three screws at bottom of glove box. Once it is off you will see it on the blower casing. Remove shroud from below with an 8mm socket. Same socket will remove resistor. Total work time ~10-20 minutes.
To change the garage door light bulb you need to remove the protective casing. Once you have removed the positive casing, you can replace it with a new one.
Remove cover on firewall under the hood, then remove the cabin filter and you will see the blower.
