It is about 18 inches up from the floor on the pass side of the cab. Find it and you will see how to reset it.
where is the driveshaft on a 2005 Ford Ranger
95-105 Ft. lbs.
There is NO adjustment on the drive belt if it is slipping time to bite the bullet and buy a new one
u can plow with anything, but a ranger is a light truck. this means it will not have the traction to dig into the snow(4wd is the way to go ) . also the trans. is not built for the added load of plowing. I have a 1997 ranger xlt 4 wheel drive that I've used for 4 years to plow and it works fine.
This engine probably has hydraulic lifters and no adjustment is required.
