Physical activity at home doesn't just have to come from those traditional ideas of "exercise". Dancing to loud music when you are home alone (or as a family) is a great way to get the body moving. General housekeeping (like dusting, mopping) are other great ways to get some activity in.
If you are looking for some more concrete "exercise" examples, do lunges, crunches, and pushups during commercial breaks or internet breaks. Walk up and down the stairs a few extra times each day.
You can also rent a lot of great workout videos from the library. Try yoga, pilates, dance exercise, and see what you like. I love classic Richard Simmons videos. They are HILARIOUS plus a pretty good workout.

You try workout DVD's and also leg lefts, toe taps, and lunges are great workouts for the butt. Some good thigh workouts to try are squats.
Ab workouts can be found on many different websites, and many videos as well. If just beginning look at the Beginner Triathlete website, where they have some great ab workouts. Youtube will have some great videos for showing you how to do workouts properly. If one has many to spend, try looking into the p90x workouts.
A few workouts that worked for me were turbo jam, p90x, walk away the pounds, the firm, and billy blanks.
