Hi, simply, I am also an owner of a 2005 GC wk HEMI, at the first 5000 KM the chime use to only ding once when i reach the speed of 120 and that's it, just one ding and it is of, after i did the first service my Jeep kept on dinging as long as i am on the speed of 120 and above, went back to the dealer and they said that My PCM was having a Europe region settings and that they just simply changed it to GCC setting's, GCC will keep the speed warning chiming continuously, i have went through all the regional settings and find out through the Starscan that the best region settings is Austria with the code of 878, you may ask the dealer to set your Jeep to the European settings and the jeep will only chime once when you reach the speed of 120 and above.

The fuse for the chime is used for other important features, so leave that. disconnecting the speaker is probably the best bet. There is a disable procedure, but I cant get it to work.- 1-turn key to accessory while buckled. 2-after seat-belt light turns of, unbuckle and re-buckle at least 3 times in 60sec. 3- turn key off. there should be a tone to assure you the procedure worked.
The first thing you need to make sure is that your keys are still not in the ignition. You also need to check and make sure you have turned your headlights off.
Chime - song - was created in 1990.
It is located on the drivers side just under the dash about as far to the door (left) as you can get. It is a pink box about the size of a cigarette pack. I had luck just sliding it toward the front get it out.If you want to make it stop a continuous chime that is an intermittent problem that you can't diagnose, carefully open the chime up and remove the "E" shaped metal bar. That will significantly reduce the sound.russ
The following steps must occur within the first 60 seconds of the ignition switch being turned to the ON or START position. The manufacturer does not recommend deactivating the Enhanced Warning System (BeltAlert) 1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, and fasten the driver's seat belt. 2. Start the engine, and wait for the Seat Belt Warning Light to turn off. 3. Within 60 seconds of starting the vehicle, unbuckle and re-buckle the driver's seat belt at least three times, ending with the seat belt buckled, within 10 seconds. 4. Turn off the engine. A single chime will sound to signify that you have successfully completed the programming. The Enhanced Warning System (BeltAlert) can be recactivated by repeating this procedure.
plug the seatbelt in.. the warning stops then ;-)
The Easiest way would be to locate it under the dash panel and simply unplug it.
Pull the key out just a little and the chime will stop. It may be controlledfrom the radio
You can disable the seatbelt warning chime, in your Honda CRV, by removing the fuse. The fuse can be found in the fuse box in the engine compartment.
Unplug it and earth the incomming wire (not the plug) it to the body of the vehicle.
there should be a plug in under your drivers seat drive safe
You can unplug it. Its under the dash board

Drive it off a cliff or head on with a semi :) just jump out before impact!
if you have the owner book that came with the vehicle, you can find in the book how to disable the door chime
The chime module is under the dash on the right of the steering column. To disable the Key-in ignition warning chime simply cut the Black/Pink wire. Its a 7 pin harness going into a large black box. Easy test is to put your key in, open the door and hold the black box with the wire harness still attached next to your ear. Then simply cut the wire to quiet it.
The chime can not be disabled or removed.
