• In the Jonas brothers there are 3 members of the band, Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas
• they are all brothers.
• they grew up in a small town in New Jersey.
• Kevin was born on 5th November 1987 in teaneck, New Jersey usa
• joe was born on 15th August 1989 in casa grande, Arizona, usa
• nick was born on 16th September 1992 in Dallas, Texas, usa
• The band started as nick's solo project.
• In 2005, a Columbia records rep listened to nick's record and really liked his voice. after meeting with nick to hear his song "please be mine" with his brothers also singing and playing guitar, the rep decided to sign them as a group act.
• they were going to be called 'sons of Jonas'.
• their parents, paul Kevin Jonas senior and Denise Jonas can sing really well too.
• they have a younger brother, Frankie Jonas who looks the most like Kevin. (well, i think he does anyway!)
• All three members have been home-schooled at some time in there life, Kevin and joe origionally attended Eastern Christian High School in north haledon, New Jersey and nick has always been home schooled.
• nick has thought of attending college some time in the future if his hectic schedule which he loves slows down slightly. he would love to attend college but he doesn't know which one yet!
• Nick has type 1 diabetes. he was diagnosed in November 2005. a couple of months befor he was diagnosed he began to loose weight, develop a bad attitude, constantly thirsty and always needed the bathroom. he's managing fine these days and is hopeful that a cure will be discovered one day. In the meantime, he is busy providing inspiration for kids who suffer from diabetes. "Dont let it slow you down at all." is his message. "just keep a positive atitude and keep moving forward with it! don't be discoraged!"
