Este modelo de moneda es el primero que emiti� Argentina en formato bimetalico, como parte de la recien creada reforma monetaria. El Decreto del Poder Ejecutivo N� 2.128 del 10 de octubre de 1991 dispuso la puesta en vigencia, a partir del 1 de enero de 1992, de la L�NEA PESO. Por ultimo la que tiene el numero 112.3 fue emitida en el Reino Unido con un error en la leyenda del anverso en la cual en vez de poner "Provincias del Rio de la Plata" pone PROVINGIAS, con una Clara sustituci�n de la letra C por una letra G. Tiene un di�metro exterior de 23 mm, mientras la parte central mide 17 mil�metros, tiene un espesor de 2,2 mil�metros. Esta moneda representa la primera moneda que emiti� Argentina, la parte central de la moneda es en si una reproducci�n de aquella moneda. El sol riente de 32 rayos es la replica del reverso de aquella moneda, mientras que el escudo es el anverso de aquella originaria moneda, en la cual puede verse la combinaci�n de las letras P-T-S que indican la CECA de Potos� donde se acu�o en su d�a, la letra "J" del ensayador Jos� Antonio de la Sierra, supervisor de la acu�aci�n de esta moneda, "8S" (8 scutum) correspondiente al valor de la moneda, y "1813", a�o de acu�aci�n. La combinaci�n exacta de metales es Cu 92/Al 6/Ni 2 para el n�cleo y Cu 75/Ni 25 para el anillo.

Tengo noticias de que las monedas de 50 centavos pasar�an a ser bimetalicas a partir de Septiembre de 2007, pero a fecha de hoy (24-11-2007) todav�a no hemos visto ninguna imagen sobre esta moneda, que ser� mas peque�a que la moneda de un Peso y con el centro plateado y el borde dorado.

With restaurants and shopping to rival any city in South America, Buenos Aires truly stands out. You can visit a number of regional museums, such as the Buenos Aires First Nations museum which houses one of the largest collections of tribal artifacts in South America, or you can head down to the main thoroughfare in downtown Buenos Aires to have a drink or eat some great Argentinian food, Argentina is world renowned for it's beef as well as local wines.

You can finish off your trip in the capitol city of Ecuador, Quito. Ecuador has a number of different eco tourism offerings, including guided tours of ancient ruins and jungles to the world famous Galapagos Islands, which house some of the most diverse and studied creatures in the world. Many travelers visit Quito and take a cruise of the Galapagos Islands, which allows you to see these creatures in their native habitats. Quito is also known for fantastic Incan food, like Quinoa, which are hard to find in other, less mountainous South American countries.
