Does marketing shape consumer needs?
Marketing shapes consumers desires/wants, but needs are always there. Marketing can influence the brand a person buys, but if one needs facial tissues, they'll get Puffs or Kleenex depending upon the marketing that has reached them, price and experience. It doesn't affect the need for the product, just the name of product purchased.
What are the skills needed for a managing director?
Depending on the area of the world a Managing Director (MD) is the equivalent of the Chief Executive Officer or President. The former responsibilities encompass strategic decisions, ie the direction of the company, the big picture. As the latter they would be focused on the tactics, ie the day to day operations.
In either case the ability to understand company financials, manage people, general business acumen and the ability to make decisions are crucial skills.

Is wilhelmina evolution agency a scam?
There have been many complaints.
What's happening is going on all over the nation. An "agency" tells you that you or your kid has what it takes, and that if you sign up with them, they'll make you or your kid a star.
Trouble is, you then have to pay them large amounts of money for registering, for accessing their site and their photographer. You are unlikely to get any jobs as a result of spending all this money - anywhere from $800 on up into the thousands.
Here is the real deal. If you or your kid truly has what it takes to be a model, a reputable agency will sign you on for free, and take a percent of any jobs they actually get for you or your kid.
Remember - NEVER pay to work!

Which trucking companies have auto shift transmissions?
US Xpress Enterprises and PAM Transport are two major companies which do. I've heard rumours that Maverick does, as well, but I don't know for certain.
If you're just getting started in driving, I'd advise against going to such a company. What you learn about shifting in truck driving school does not make you proficient at shifting. If you start off with a company like US Xpress (which is a perfectly fine company to work for, don't get me wrong), then decide you want to work elsewhere, and that elsewhere doesn't use automatic transmissions, you're going to find yourself left wanting.
By the way, there is a difference between automatic and autoshift transmissions - autoshift transmissions are basically a manual gearbox, fitted with a synchroniser and computerised shifting system. They still use a clutch. They're also going the way of the dinosaur, with the advent of the Meritor, Eaton Smart Shift, etc. fully automatic transmissions.

Opinion 1:
BidCactus is not a scam. Penny Auctions aren't regulated yet, but they probably will be at some point.
Unlike any other Penny Auction Site, BidCactus is the only Penny Auction Site to undergo an audit by an independent third party - Ernst & Young. They are also accredited by the Better Business Bureau.
Opinion 2:
Yes, it's a scam as most people understand the word. You are paying seventy five cents per bid with no guarantees. It may just as well list itself as a gambling site, but even in the unlikely case you "win", you'll have paid more for whatever you bought then you would have at the store!
No Opinion, fact. I just watched a bidding war between two parties. It was for a gift certificate. At a presumed value of $0.70 per bid, with 77 bids and a $2.95 shipping charge, the "winner" just paid $56.85 for a $25.00 certificate. The bidding was not stopped when the retail value was met/exceeded. It was allowed to continue. Two parties were bidding so a total of $110.75 was taken in for a $25 gift certificate. This is a SCAM by definition!
Some factual data:
In the sixty or so days since the BBB accreditation of BidCactus they've a number of complaints, especially when one considers how few a percent of people complain to the BBB out of the total number of people who are upset.
The BBB has listed 19 complaints. These complaints, from the BBB's own site are as follows:
Failure to substantiate charges.
Failure to honor a contract or agreement.
Invalid or false contract.
Unauthorized changes to the contract or agreement.
Failure to provide promised assistance or support for products or services.
Non-delivery of products.
Guarantee or warranty complaints issue.
Sales complaint issue.
Sales presentation misrepresented the service.
Sales presentation used dishonest sales practices.
Delayed completion of service.
Complaints are listed as 13 "resolved" and 6 "administratively closed".
Now with the data, one may draw their own conclusions as to the appropriateness of dealing with BidCactus.
