Indian food can give you diarrhea if it is greasy or prepared with a lot of spices, which is a frequent complaint of restaurants that serve Indian food. If you prepare it yourself, then you can control which ingredients go into the food and you'll be less likely to get sick.

Also it helps if you don't have pre-existing gastrointestinal problems such as acid reflux or Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

Alcohol has a multitude of effects on the small intestine and colon that cause diarrhea.

Chronic diarrhea can be caused by chronic ethanol ingestion.[6] Consumption of alcohol affects the body's capability to absorb water - this is often a symptom that accompanies a hangover after a heavy drinking session. The alcohol itself is absorbed in the intestines and as the intestinal cells absorb it, the toxicity causes these cells to lose their ability to absorb water. This leads to an outpouring of fluid from the intestinal lining, which is in turn poorly absorbed. The diarrhea usually lasts for several hours until the alcohol is detoxified and removed from the digestive system. Symptoms range from person to person and are influenced by both the amount consumed as well as physiological differences. Alcohol-induced diarrhea is often accompanied by "the follow through" which is a feeling that the patient is going to break wind (flatulence) instead becomes an uncontrolled episode of diarrhea.

Depends on what you're drinking. If it's alcohol, it means that you're proabably an alcoholic & need to quit. As for the cough, you need to quit smoking.

Yes its a possibilty definately. But you should see a doctor to be sure. If you are pregnant the clear sticky fluid coming out of your breast, is what helps build your baby's immune system the first few days its born.

Yes, as could any diet that is vastly different from one your body is used to. Our systems can be quiet delicate to change, but should adapt rather quickly. If your symptoms do not improve within two weeks, or get worse, you probably have some lactose intolerance. You may not have noticed said intolerance before, even when you ate cheese, but the increase amount of cheese and the reduction of bread yeasts in this diet can make those slightly intolerant become more intolerant. Try over-the-counter remedies for lactose intolerance.

In addition, following the diet plan as instructed (move on to the phase where you add in healthy grains and veggies) will have you eating more normally. DO NOT stay stuck in phase one just because you think you'll loose weight faster that way--it is unhealthy.

When you have diarrhea it is important to drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated. Make sure to avoid soft drinks, fatty foods, and sugary foods. You should eat foods such as bananas, rice, and toast.

yes i am 7 months and am having the same problem as long as there is no blood in stool or mucus , also if u have realy bad stomic pain and vomiting call your doc.. but no other than that it should be fine

You have what looks like coffee grounds in the bm,well this is blood that has dried therefore you should see a physician to be thoroughly checked out. You could have ulcerative colitis.Good luck

If you have diarrhea with cramping, it's just that your stomach is not very happy with you at that time. If you don't have cramps, it's likely you eat nothing but vegetables and fruits and/or you have a parasite or some germs in your body that wants to flush it out.

It's been known to do so in some cases. It doesn't have a 100% success rate though. Whilst it may work for some, it will have nil effect on others.

Bacteria and viruses are the most common agents of infection. These are usually acquired by touching a contaminated surface or person. The best way to minimize risk of infection is to practice proper hand washing protocols.

No this is not normal. Your body should function reletively normal. IF you haven't heard of it being a common side effect of pregnancy.... example: headaches, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, breast tenderness, hunger cravings, constipation, hemroids.... then it's probably something you need to see your doctor about. If you have diarrhea for any extended period of time it can put you at risk for dehydration and preterm labor.

If you are giving milk to the kitty, that could be the problem. Some baby cats can digest regular milk. You could try Goat Milk which comes in cans at the market. Or just give it water. Kitty doesn't need milk at all after it's weaned.

Diarrhea is most often painful, maybe you like the S&M component of it. It's best to not have diarrhea as it could lead to health problems, and you could experiment with S&M.

The salmonella doesnt cause diarrea, its what the body does to get rid of the bacteria. But its still a symptom.

Just personal anecdote - when I was on phase one of the South Beach I did have diarrhea. Lots of veggies, cheese and eggs - no carbs. I think my system has alot of fiber and roughage!!!
