That area has really nice historic sites to visit, you can enjoy amazing golf courses; and then you can head in to Memphis for the music scene or take your chances at the casinos in Tunica. The highest mountain is Woodall Mountain standing 806 feet tall. Some of the other mountains are Lebanon Mountain and Wikker Mountain Mississippi in general is quite hilly. I have looked this up in several places and I am not seeing what I believe is the correct answer. All the responses I am seeing are from counties that are in states that are fully located east of the Mississippi River.
However, St. Louis County in Minnesota is EAST of the Mississippi River, although only a portion of the entire state can make that same claim.
St. Louis County is 6860 square miles and this is slightly larger than the county that I am most commonly seeing listed as the largest east of the Mississippi: Aroostock County, Maine 6,829 square miles
