Well, darling, a WD in netball can prance around the whole court like they own the place. They can frolic in the defensive and center third but better not step foot in the shooting circle unless they want a penalty. So, WD can strut their stuff in most parts of the court, just not where the goals are being scored.

netball is better than rugby because you don't get hurt as badly as you do in rugby. also in rugby you can get tacked and have a broken nose and maybe crack your back, whereas in netball, the worst you can do is brake your knee or ankle

I say rugby is harder than netball as i play rugby myself and the injuries are quite horrible as they could lead to head ache or concussion not just injuries but the speed and agility you need to have is outstanding, as netball is more of a shooting game, yes, you need speed and other sorts of things just like rugby but you are standing still and as it is a non contact game ( correct me if I’m wrong!) i find it wouldn’t be as hard as rugby.
