Ohio has a lot of farm land! It's mostly used for corn. Some of it's used for soy and pumpkin depending on the season. Green peppers, onions, cucumbers, squash, tomatoes, okra, radish, collard greens, herbs, grapes, apples, pears and many more. All of these can be bought fresh at local farms for cheaper than you buy them at the store. Tropical fruits such as oranges and bananas however do not grow in Ohio.
