The most likely place for pinched nerves is along the vertebrae. the spinal chord has branches that lead of it to the various parts of the body. the bones that make up the vertebrae are made up in such a way as to allow these nerves to pass between the joints. However when the cartilage and other material between the joints wears down or is damaged in some way you end up with a situation where the bone starts to push on it pinching it and interfering wit the messages passing through it.

I love grapefruit but I have similar suspicion that grapefruit juice is the cause for my backpain. I had a severe backpain about 2 years ago. It lasted a few months. When I evaluated what I did differently, eating grapefruit was one of the possible reasons. I only began to suspect it because grapefruit is reported to interfere with many different drugs. I stopped eating any grapefruit. Gradually my back pain went away. I started to excise a lot for my back muscle. I swim 30min-1 hr everyday. I was back pain free for almost one and half years. There was not additional proof for my suspicion until a few days ago.

Last week, my wife bought some large delicious grapefruit from Costco. I couldn't resist. I started to eat one everyday and I ate 2 large grapefruit 3 days ago. On Sunday morning, I suddenly got severe back pain again that I could not put on my socks. When I evaluate the situation in the last 1-2 weeks, the only thing out of ordinary is eating grapefruit again.

if you are cramping only on one side of your adomen you need to see your physician immediately or go to the er, one sided cramping is a sign of a tubal or ectopic pregnancy which can be life threatening if not treated and found soon enough

She's been to a doctor but they have no clue and won't help till another 6 months then if that doesn't help she'll have a visit to doctors to be told the exact same thing like the 3 times and now it's getting worse

To eliminate gas pain, lie or sit and rub your palm from below the rib cage downward, lift, return to the ribcage and repeat. Also, you can apply a heating pad. Lying on your side with your left knee bent upward toward your chest can help expel gas. You can also try walking to reduce gassy pain. As well, over the counter medications (such as Gas-X) can reduce gas pain within an hour. Usually after these measures, you will expel gas, you might have a bowel movement, and the pain will lessen and go away.

Back pain is often pain that is aggravated by doing--- walking, standing, bending, lifting. Usually back pain lessens when lying down.

In either case, you should have your doctor evaluate the cause(s) of your pain.

Flexeril is a "muscle relaxer" not a pain med for nerves. Lyrica, gabapenten(sp), tramadol, and a few other meds have been shown to help with nerve pain.

The sensation of pain is different in every individual no matter the gender.

if we couldn't feel pain then if your body was getting hurt your brain wouldn't tell you to stop or move away from what was causing that pain, if the problem was great enough it could result in death.

There could be many causes. Some are obvious, like a knife to the thigh, but that probably isn't it, since you are asking. Bone disease, cancer, or just cramps or circulation problems could be culprits. It could also be psychological or exercise or stress related. The best idea is to go see a doctor and get it checked out.

Whiplash is a sprain/strain syndrome of the neck (or cervical spine) due to a sudden acceleration and deceleration of the neck and head.  Sprain meaning that some tearing has occurred in the tendons or ligaments, strain meaning that some tearing has occurred in the muscles.  

Very minor cases can be self limiting, meaning that they will resolve themselves.  However long lasting effects may occur without treatment.  A great deal of benefit has been shown to occur with chiropractic care especially when combined with physical therapy.  Very often medical management has to be included in the form of pain medication, anti-inflammatory medication, muscle relaxers, and joint or trigger-point steroid injections.  

Often a whiplash injury can be managed conservatively with physical therapy and chiropractic care.  However, sometimes a whiplash can be so severe as to cause other disorders in the cervical spine, like a herniated disc in the neck.  If a herniated disc is severe enough surgery may even be required!

If you have been involved in an accident that has caused pain, soreness, or discomfort of the neck, it is a good idea to seek a professional opinion and have someone evaluate your individual case.  Untreated conditions may take longer to resolve and may result in degenerative conditions of the spine.

I have/had the same as you. I think they call it referred or transferred pain.

I would suggest take the pain killers that have been prescribed for you.

If you had it checked out and its ok, then it should be ok. Just referred pain.
