It is very difficult. You must grab it on it's sides, not touching its tail or close to its head. They can only lose their tails once and after they grow back they won't fall off anymore. So don't touch the tails if you don't have to. The newts might bite but it will probably just hurt. But its better to try not to get bitten.
Is there a predator and prey situation with a snake and a frog?
Both frogs and snakes are predators. Though you are more likely to find a snake that prey on frogs than the other way around.
The main reason - is camouflage. In their natural habitat, their colouration is designed to allow them to 'blend in' to their natural surroundings, providing them with the opportunity to either hide from predators, or lie in ambush, waiting for prey.

How do you tell the difference between a rattlesnake and a bull snake?
Rattlers have a heavier body than bull snakes, they have a wide triangular head while the bull has a narrow, pointed head. The rattler has a rattle on its tail while the bull has none. However, bull snakes can imitate the rattler and will vibrate their tail. If the snake is in dry leaves or grass, it sounds just like a rattlesnake.
There are three accepted methods - chemical (barbituate overdose), chemical (carbon dioxide), and projectile (firearm). The only one you could possibly perform properly at home would be the firearm method, and this only if you have a good knowledge of firearms, have the proper caliber of firearm and grain of bullet, know exactly where to place the shot (between the eyes isn't it, and neither is through the hear), and can make the shot correctly on the first attempt.
Because euthanasia via firearm is technically difficult to accomplish properly without extensive training and preparation, most owners elect to have a veterinarian use the chemical (barbituate overdose) option. This is the "pink sauce" or injectable euthanasia solution that is given in a single bolus directly into the vein; the barbituate anesthetizes the animal then stops the heart, resulting in a painless slide into death. Because the barbituate is a controlled drug under US law, only a veterinarian can acquire the drug and authorize its administration; generally the veterinarian is the one to actually inject the drug.
In shelter situations, carbon dioxide can be used, although this is falling out of favor and use due to pressure from animal rights and humane organizations. In this situation, lab-grade concentrations of carbon dioxide are introduced into an air-tight chamber holding the dog; the high concentrations anesthetize then euthanize the dog. However, the transition isn't as smooth as what you typically see with a barbituate injection.

Are there any snakes with antenna looking things on it's head?
No, no vertebrates have ever developed antennas.
However, the snake's tongue behaves like an antenna in that it is forked and can sample the air (drawing the scent back into its mouth to do this as the tongue flicks in and out) with enough sensitivity to stalk prey. It can do this because its tongue is forked and it can differentiate the strength signal across the distance of the fork.
