How does the black mambas venom kill?
Black Mamba Venom is the most rapid-acting venom of any snake species. It contains highly potent neurotoxins. It also contains cardiotoxins. Even a 10 to 15mg quantity of venom can be deadly to a human adult. It delivers an average of around 100 to 120 mg of venom and depending on the quantity of venom injected, it can potentially kill a human in less than 20 minutes. If bitten, neurological, respiratory and cardiovascular symptons begin within 15 mins or less. Symptions include dizziness, drowsiness, coughing and difficulty to breath. The fatality rate depends on various factors, such as the health, size, age, psychological state of the victim, the penetration of one or both fangs from the snake, amount of venom injected, location of the bite, and proximity to major blood vessels
What is the largest snake living?
A:
The South Pacific.
(If bitten and venom is injected)
The most venomous snake on earth is the Belcher's Sea Snake (Hydrophis Belcheri) or the Faint Banded Sea Snake, some consider the Inland Taipan (Oxyuranus microlepidotus) an/or the Beaked Sea Snake (Enhydrina schistosa) to be the most toxic, however, with recent and more accurate studies 2010 prove the Belcheri has a 100 times more toxic venom then the two above or any other snake on earth.
It has a paddle-like tail, breathes air and can hold it's breath up to 8 hours, a few milligrams of venom can kill over a thousand people.
It's habitat has a wide range in the South Pacific.
Excluding the Belcher's Sea Snake the next most venomous snakes on earth according to their venom rating are:
2- Inland Tiapan (Oxyuranus Microlepidotus).
3- Common Indian Krait (Bungarus Caeruleus).
4- Philippine Cobra (Naja Philippinensis).
5- King Cobra (Ophiophagus Hanna).
6- Russell's Viper (Vipera Russellii).
7- Black Mamba (Dendroaspis Polylepis).
8- Yellow Jawed Tommygoff (Bothrops Asper).
9- Multibanded krait (Bungarus Multicinctus).
10- Tigar Snake (Notechis Scutatus).
11- Jararacussu (Bothrops Jararacussu).
yes depending on the type of snake, say we had a garden snake it grows to about 5 to 6 inches and can boost itself up to 3 times its body length so if it was 5 inches long it could hop to aout 15 inches away which is a foot and 3 inches so yes they have a fairly big territory depending on the snake.
Do small snakes eat large snakes?
It really depends on the snake and lizard There are some that can live together but most will not get along because most lizards are territorial and will kill any living thing in there enclosure. I was at the Jax zoo the other day and i did see plated lizards in the same cage with some very large African pythons.
Are many kinds of snakes live in the ground, but few snakes are burrowing. Most of thesnakes live in holes is dependent on other digging animals or perishable root. Poke thesoft soil of snakes live in the ground only a short distance form the channel entrance orplace of rest or hatching. Some snakes live in the ground, such as the shield tail snakes(Uropeltidae), mining made the cave. Mining requires a solid skull and spade-shaped orcone-shaped nose, because there is no limbs, only the head is the mining tool. Mining isthe formation of body contraction and forward change. Body to form a series of tightcurves; head forward to dig into the soil, lifting or moving of soil, the soil get a solid move to the hole above or the side of such a high level accumulation of practice create a cave.If the cave is wide and irregular surface, then the snake to move through the cave is S-shaped; if not, then use the contraction forward or linear motion. Buried in the desertsnake habits lying on the sand, but not through the sand crawl. In the sand under thesnake only a little slow twist.

Snakes will not chase people, with one possible exception; The Black Mamba. Although it is yet to be proven beyond doubt that they are not just occasionally heading the same way when a person runs.

What is the brown snakes height?
Hi,
Brown snakes are disseptivley large. In comparision to to most venomous snakes in is big (at adult size). An adult can grow between 1.5 - 2.0m long, but remain relativly thin in diameter which gives them good speed and manoverability. Supposedly it is the 2nd most venoumous snake in existence, the latter of the Inland Taipan. However, the brown snake is much more abundant, more viscous and lives in highly dense areas of human populationwhich makes me believe that the chances of being bitten are much more likley, making it (for me) the most dangerous venomous snake in the world.
Thanks,
Chris.
What colors can a boa constrictor be?
I one and it is brown but it has darker spots on it that's how most are unless they are albino. Some of the tree boa's are green but they don't sell those at most places.
What is a snake Fahrenheit 451?
The Suction Snake works as a stomach pump and stops Mildred from dying.
yes. they have eyes
A snake's eyes are rounded and with lenses adjustable for distance vision. With the exception of the blind snakes, the eyes of a snake are permanently covered and protected by a transparent lower eyelid (called a spectable or brille). The fusion of the eyelids does not allow a snake to blink or close their eyes. Since the snake lacks external ear openings and eardrums, they hear by using their head to pick up vibrations and sounds from the ground. Experiments have shown that snakes can hear airborne sounds as well, although not well.

What are the best snakes to have?
Ball pythons and corn snakes are very great beginners, but there are a ton more great begginers. Hognose a and Kenyan sand boas a great for a small living space, garter snakes are good for people who don't want to feed rodents to their pet, rainbow boas a great for people who like a fairly big snake and for ones who love a majestic snake (hence the name rainbow) and African household snakes are good snakes to own too.
What happens when a snake is too cold?
Truthfully not all snakes die in the cold, the ones that have adapted to cold simply go into a kind of hibernation until the warm weather returns. However snakes without the adaptation would die because they are cold blooded (no internal method of warming their bodies) and require sun and warmth to keep their bodies functioning
How do snakes meet their basic needs for living?
It depends on what kind of snake your talking about. To take care of a snake the needs are simple for land and water snakes:Land snakes; bowl of water, find out what kind of snake it is to find out what food it eats, look up what habitat it lives in, get some outdoor decoration for your snake including a place for it to hide because your snakes needs some privacy so don't be dissappointed if you can't watch it all the time.Water snakes:do the same thing exept fill it up with water and put some land/rocks in to climb onto.
Does a rattlesnake bite kill humans?
A rattlesnake wouldn't be able to eat a human. Snakes can't bite parts off, so they are limited to eating things they can swallow whole. And a human, even a child, would simply be too big for a rattlesnake to swallow.
