What is a pace chart and how to use it?
A pace chart tracks your time and distance for various types of runs. You create one by setting up what you want to track and letting Excel do the arithmetic for you. It can be used by marathon runners to evalute their performance and determine what specifc aspects of their running needs work.
See related links for examples of pace charts.
Entering numeric data into non-numeric fields?
In itself, this should not pose a problem. However, you may not be able to process them as numbers.
three answers: 6849 or 4637 or 2425
How would you solve probability of all cards being the same suit if 12 are chosen from a deck of 32?
I need more information. I would guess a deck of 32 cards would only have 8 card in each suit, so it would be impossible to draw 12 cards of the same suit.

What are the possible number of codes that has to be 3 digits and 2 letters without a 0 or a 1?
5!
----- x 8 x 8 x 8 x 26 x 26 (I think - I haven't done this at college yet but this
3!2! seems logical. Someone will have to corroborate me)
Which is 10 x 8 x 8 x 8 x 26 x 26 5120 x 676... I wish I had a calculator... please don't take my word for this lol. 3,380,000 + 67,600 + 13,520 = 3,461,120
This is a very broad question. I have included a link from the Internet, but you can find many other links by searching under sampling methods.
Usually the question is:
What makes a sample's statistics be an accurate representation of the population?
No sample is a perfect representation of the population, but some samples are more representative than others.
If you are conducting a survey, you should make sure that the results are unbiased. For example, if you are asking people if they like to excersize, you should not do this at your local health club and then claim your sample represents everyone in your community.
Your sample should contain enough data. Sometimes, important surveys require hundreds or thousands of interviews. Asking a few people questions is not a good way to collect a sample.
There should be a plan to your collection of data, that is well documented. Sometimes, it is necessary to have a professional outside group conduct the study, so a representative sample is gathered. The Gallup organization are very well known for conducting political surveys. You don't want someone to "pick and choose" his data to get a certain result.
These are just some ideas- you may find more in the related link.
How many combinations of 5 numbers are there if there are 25 numbers?
If each number is different from all of the other numbers and the combinations are considered distinct unless they contain the same numbers in the same order, the answer is 25 X 24 X 23 X 22 X 21 = 6,375,600. If the combinations are distinct only if they do not contain the same numbers, irrespective of order, then the answer is (25 X 24 X 23 X 22 X 21)(5 x 4 x 3 x 2) = 53,130.
How many decimetres are there in 100 centimeters?
There are 10 centimetres in one decimetre. Therefore, 100 centimetres is equal to 100/10 = 10 decimetres.
One of the fundamental requirements of any scientific theory is that experiments are replicable. This requires reuslts to be comparable which would be impossible if members of the community did not use the same units.
What is the probability of drawing either a jack or queen?
If you use a normal card set, it would be 8/53 chance, because it it 4 queens an 4 Jacks (8 in total) and 52 cards to pick between. If you reduce it, the probability would be 2/13.
What does trend mean in mathematical terms?
You know when you have the line of best fit in a graph, you basically explain that line.
This is what and exam question may look like:
Explain the trend line of this graph.
For the answer you could possibly say: As the marks for maths increases so do the science marks.
I hope I helped. :)
Difference between variables and probability distribution?
Assuming you mean random variable here.
A random variable is term that can take have different values. for example a random variable x that represent the out come of rolling a dice, that is x can equal 1,2,3,4,5,or 6.
Think of probability distribution as the mapping of likelihood of the out comes from an experiment. In the dice case, the probability distribution will tell you that there 1/6 the time you will get 1, 2,3....,or 6. this is called uniform distribution since all the out comes have that same probability of occurring.
They use display screens and optical systems that send 3D images to the eyes. Motion sensors in it measure the position and orientation of the head; this information is sent back to a computer which enables it to adjust the image sent back to a user.
