heres the procedure open your modi file with Microsoft office document imaging

then save the image as TIF or Tagged image file format... then close the Microsoft office document imaging....

then open the TIF file with Microsoft office picture manager... after you open the tif

then click file > then export.... at the right side you will have an option in what format do you want the file to be export (jpg, png, gif. bmp).... then presto... JOB WELL DONE

While booting, a computer looks at a number of available disks (floppies, CDs, harddisks) to see if they contain a bootable operating system. It may be blinking because it is on standby, if that's not the case check it for jammed paper.

You may cant to cancel all current print jobs and then turn off and turn on the printer and try again.

There is another cause of the blinking light, if you purchased a new catridge recently make sure you buy black & colour, and not just the one! even if theres colour left in the old one some printers you must replace both in order to work. Asking if a computer is a technology is a weird question because there is something called "computer" and there is another thing called "computer technology". Computer technology is a combination of many other technologies (main division is hardware and software) and each have their unique properties. The technology is a know-how while computer is a device. When considered this way, it becomes easier to understand how computer technology helped mobile-phones evolve and become smart-phones.

What is the context of the question? I hate to answer a question with a question, but the question is too broad to form an intellegent answer.
