What is 18 degrees Celsius in centigrade?

Because degrees Celsius means the same as degrees centigrade, the answer is 18 degrees.

Better use the correct word "degrees Celsius."

What temp will a tin can melt?

the melting point of tin (the element) is 21.23 º C

Important to note that most "tin" cans are not tin. They are low carbon steel with a very thin, if any, tin plating. I'm not sure where the original answer got the melting point of tin. The actual melting point of tin is 231.93 °C or 449.47 °F. If the can is steel then it will take a much, much higher temperature to melt.

What is 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit in celsius?

°C = (°F - 32) x 5/9 for 60 degrees fahrenheit oC = (60-32) x 5/9 = 28 x 5/9 = 15.5555 and for 70 degrees fahrenheit = (70 - 32) x 5/9 = 38 x 5/9 = 21.1111 degrees Celsius Final Answer :60-70 oF = 15.6 - 21.1 oC

What is 99 Fahrenheit in Celsius?

Start by taking the number in Fahrenheit and subtracting 32. Then divide the number by 9, and then multiply it by 5. This is how you convert Fahrenheit to Celsius or use the equation C = (F - 32) × 5/9
In this case, the answer is about 37.389 degrees Celsius.

What is the temperature year-round in Carlsbad Cavern caves?

The temperature in Carlsbad Caverns caves remains relatively constant year-round at around 56°F (13°C). The caves maintain this consistent temperature due to their depth and insulation from external weather conditions.

Convert 3.3 degrees celsius in fahrenheit?

3.3 degrees celsius is 37.94 degrees fahrenheit.

How many moles of ethanol in vapor at 70 degrees Fahrenheit?

To calculate the number of moles of ethanol in vapor at 70 degrees Fahrenheit, you would need to know the volume of the vapor and the pressure it is under. Using the ideal gas law equation (PV = nRT), where P is pressure, V is volume, n is the number of moles, R is the ideal gas constant, and T is temperature in Kelvin, you can solve for n.

How does temperature change during boiling?

The process that occurs during boiling of liquid is energizing of water molecules (H2O) to give them excessive energy for excitement to change their form to gas from liquid. This energy can be provided by heating and electric current.

In the liquid state, atoms and molecules are bound together by strong intermolecular forces as compared to gases. While boiling a liquid we provide heat to the molecules whereby their kinetic energy is enhanced and they now have enough energy to overcome the cohesive forces and escape from the liquid surface hence changing into gas. This process is called evaporation.

What is 16 degrees centigrade equal to in degrees Fahrenheit?

Start by taking the number in Celsius and multiply it by 9. Then divide that number by 5, and then add 32. This is how you convert Celsius to Fahrenheit or use the equation F = (9/5)C + 32
In this case, the answer is about 60.8 degrees Fahrenheit.

How do you do an experiment to show how salt affects the freezing point of water?

Salt Water takes longer to freeze than plain water I recently did an experiment for my 8th grade science class, on this subject. I took 1/4 of a cup of salt water, poured it into a cup of water and mixed it up. Measured a cup of water, and poured that into a cup. I put them both in the freezer after a half hour of sitting, so they could become room temperature. I then checked every 2 hours. They both hadn't changed much. After 4 hours, the salt water was all mushy, and so was the tap water. The tap water was more solid than the salt water though. After hours, they both were much more solid. The tap water was completely frozen at this time, but the salt wasn't there all the way.. yet. When I checked the salt water at 8 hours though, the salt water was completely frozen. The salt water has a constant drip on top though, I even left it in there for an extra day, I forgot to take it out - and the drip was still on top! To sum it up, the salt water takes 2 more hours than the tap water to freeze. If you have any questions or comments, message me @ meglovesyouxo@yahoo.com Thanks!

What does 30 degrees Celsius equal in Fahrenheit?

To convert from Celsius to Fahrenheit you must multiply by 1.8 and then add 32. So for 30C, multiply by 1.8 which gives 54 and then add 32 which makes 86F Alternatively use the online converter here:

What is the boiling point of MG?

The boiling point of Magnesium (Mg): 1363 K, 1091 oC, 1994 oF

Is Celsius hot or cold?

As a measure of temperature, Celsius is both hot and cold.
Celsius is neither cold nor hot, it is a scale used in the measurement of temperature and runs from the coldest to the hottest temperatures.

Can you get burned at 50 degrees C?

it will be a higher temperature then your body but would not think it will burn if you have it on you for a short time

What is 109 Fahrenheit in Celsius?

42.8 degrees celsius
109 deg F = 42.777... deg Celsius.

What a thermometer measures?

A thermometer measures the temperature of an object or environment by detecting the thermal energy present. It typically does so by using either a mercury or digital sensor to provide a numerical readout in degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius.

The amount of heat energy required to raise the temperature of a unit mass of a material one degree is?

The amount of heat energy required to raise the temperature of a unit mass of a material by one degree is known as the specific heat capacity of that material. It is a constant value unique to each material and is typically measured in units of J/kg°C.

What is the formula to find specific heat of water Q?

The formula to find the specific heat of water ( Q ) is: ( Q = mc\Delta T ), where (m) is the mass of the water, (c) is the specific heat capacity of water, and ( \Delta T ) is the change in temperature of the water.

What is the Fahrenheit temperature equivalent to 20 degrees Celsius?

Start by taking the number in Celsius and multiply it by 9. Then divide that number by 5, and then add 32. This is how you convert Celsius to Fahrenheit or use the equation F = (9/5)C + 32
In this case, the answer is about 68 degrees Fahrenheit.

How much heat is needed to raise 8 kg of water from 4 degrees Celsius to 83 degrees Celsius?

The heat needed can be calculated using the formula: Q = mc∆T, where Q is the heat, m is the mass of water, c is the specific heat capacity of water (4186 J/kg°C), and ∆T is the change in temperature. Plug in the values to find the heat needed.

How much colder is -9 degrees Celsius than 9 degrees Celsius?

The difference between -9 degrees Celsius and 9 degrees Celsius is 18 degrees. This is because the value of -9 is 18 units less than 9 on the temperature scale.

What is the freezing point of EUROPIUM?

The freezing point of europium, a rare earth element, is 822 degrees Celsius (1512 degrees Fahrenheit).
