What instrument did agnetha faltskog play?

Agnetha plays the piano. She started when she was a young girl and would sing along to her favorite songs of the time which happened to be by American artist. As she was learning to play the piano, Agnetha started to write songs. Then as she grew she not only wrote the words but the music that went with the songs she wrote. There are a number of ABBA songs that where written by Agnetha, or the music was composed by Agnetha on the piano. One of the things that she has said she enjoys in her day to day life is to relax by playing her piano. She is a very proficient pianist, but in Agnetha's opinion she down plays her ability and is quite humble. She sort of 'gets by' and is not so very good, just 'so so' in her own opinion. A song that many have wondered and speculated over regarding where she got the inspiration for the words and music is on her newest album called 'A' which was released last spring. It is the last song on the the album is called 'I Keep Them On The Floor Beside My Bed'. She sings and plays the piano for this song. The entire album is her first release of all original music in something like 27 years. She played the piano in her 2004 release of 'My Colouring Book' which is her tribute to the singers, mainly of the 50's who inspired her as a little girl and it is these songs she first started playing notes to on the piano. The rest is, as they say, "history".

Why did Benny and Frida of ABBA divorce?

They simply fell out of love. They'd been going through a rough time and Benny had met someone else in late 1980. Frida supposedly knew about the relationship and accepted that her marriage was over.
In his excellent Abba biography, Carl Magnus Palm quotes Frida as saying, "I don't know exactly what went wrong. Maybe it was the strain of working together, never having time for our private life. we were never able to sit down as two indviduals and decide what we wanted from our lives. It was a mixture of everything...Abba took a great part of our lives." Many Frida fans blamed Benny, because he apparently started a relationship with another woman, Mona Norklit, several months before the divorce was announced in February 1981. (They married in November 1981.) But it appears the relationship was struggling long before that.

What are 10 famous songs written by ABBA?

Not sure exactly what you mean by your question, but every song released by Abba, with only one exception, was written by them, specifically by lyricist Bjorn Ulvaeus and composer Benny Andersson. On many of their early songs, manager Stig Anderson was also credited (his English-language writing skills were better) and on one early hit (Ring Ring) Neil Sedaka helped write English lyrics. That's something like 150 tracks, including foreign language versions of the same songs. (Abba recorded in Spanish, Swedish, German and French.)

The one track Abba released that wasn't written by them was a medley of American folk tunes on their third album, "Abba".
