It really is a personal preference, I just find these songs are the best ones from one awesome, legendary Rock 'n' Roll band.

After Highway To Hell was released, lead singer and co-songwriter Bon Scott died on 19 February 1980, after a night of heavy alcohol consumption. The group briefly considered disbanding, but soon ex-Geordie singer Brian Johnson was selected as Scott's replacement. Later that year, the band released their best-selling album, Back in Black.

Back in Black is the 7th studio album by Australian hard rock band AD/DC, released on 25 July 1980.

I do not know the cost of booking AC/DC, but logic would dictate that one would have to be incredibly wealthy to book AC/DC.

You are probably thinking of Margaret. But was it a hairdryer or a vaccuum cleaner or an amplifier or a sewing machine, from which AC/DC got their name?

According to "The Story of AC/DC: Let There Be Rock" by Susan Masino "They {i.e. "the band"} tossed around ideas for a band name and came up with "Third World War. Their sister Margaret had a better idea when she noticed the phrase AC/DC written on the back of her sewing machine. Some sources say it was a vaccum cleaner but I'm sticking with the sewing machine since Margaret would eventually make some of Angus's first schoolboy uniforms."

Anyway... however they got their name, it is only because of AC/DC that "Rock an Roll will never die!" And it is definitely through Margaret's persistence that gave the Young boys enough umph to get started on their way to stardom!

Because their music is amazing, they are a really great band with great musicians, and they've been through the hardest thing a band can go through: the death of one member. When AC/DC lost Bon Scott, everybody thought that was the end, but, even completely devastated, they found Brian Johnson and recorded one of their greatest albuns, "Back In Black". Also, Angus Young is a symbol of Rock'n'Roll.

That is a matter of personal preference, they have sold more albums/CD's than KISS.

When the band started they would have been considered heavy metal, but with the of music over the last 40 or so years Ac/Dc now fit more into the "rock" compared to some of the "heavier" genres that exist now. These heavier genres can have characteristics including (but not limited to ) deeper/growling vocals, more heavily distorted guitars, down-tuned guitars, darker lyrical content and faster tempo.

It is called Black Ice, and it will be out on October 20, and sold only at Sams Club and Walmart, or online at AC/DC.com

Picked it up Oct 21st and it rocks. Iit is their strongest release since Back In Black. With the exception of a couple of songs in the middle of the cd, every song is classic AC/DC with blistering power cords, a driving drum beat and strong bass lines.

well supposivly they got it from a sowing machine. they saw acdc on the machine and thought tht it ment power and tht it would be perfect for there band. but later on when the band was in a taxi cab a man asked if they were all gay or bi because acdc apparently can mean half and half.
