Proactiv has great products, but they're a one-size-fits-all solution and often aren't strong enough to treat severe acne. While it is a decent start to clearing acne, the problem is that skin gets used to products rather quickly. You need to strengthen your homecare routine about every two weeks to keep ahead of your skin's ability to adapt to the products you are using. This means that you need to up the frequency of use and/or up the strength of what you are using.

Bottom line: Proactiv is not strong enough for most cases of severe acne. You need to start off with at least a 5% benzoyl peroxide (theirs is 2.5%) and eventually work up to a 10%.

You most often need a strong exfoliant/antibacterial serum coupled with the benzoyl peroxide to get to clear skin.

Most bumps are caused by inflammation, but the area is also very susceptible to bacteria after waxing. Exfoliating and applying an antiseptic such as witch hazel, salicylate acid, or a product such as Tend Skin will help prevent and minimize acne and bumps.

Try this to get rid of pimples.

Wash your face ONLY with IVORY soap and rinse with hot water. Before you get out of the shower, rinse your face with COLD water, as cold as you can stand. After you get out of the shower, pour 1-2 teaspoons of WITCH HAZEL in your hand and rub it all over your face (this might sting just a little).

If you're a guy, and old enough to shave, do so in the shower. Find a shaving lotion that opens up your pores. Lather it all over your face, not just the parts you shave, and rub it in, then shave. Immediately after shaving, rinse with hot water - your pores should still be open. Then wash your face with Ivory soap, rinse with hot water, then cold water just before you get out of the shower, and use the witch hazel.

If you're a girl, use Noxema to open up your pores before washing your face. Whether you're using shaving cream or Noxema, you should try to do this at least once a week.

Pimples are formed when dirt and oil builds up in your pores. Just washing your face isn't enough to prevent them. You have to open those pores up to clean out the dirt and oil (that's the purpose of the Noxema/shaving cream). And most soaps contain oil, so if you wash your face with them, you're just putting that oil right back into your pores. Ivory does not contain oils, and is the best soap for preventing pimples. But it does tend to dry out your skin, for the same reason.

The purpose of the cold water rinse and the witch hazel is to close your pores, to KEEP the oil and dirt out, after you went to all the trouble to get it out in the first place. You could use rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol instead, but it stings much worse than witch hazel, especially if you just shaved. Also, closing your pores will cause your face to appear more oily between showers. This is because the oil that naturally accumulates on your face does not soak into your pores, but stays on the surface where everyone can see it. Assuming you take only one shower per day, you probably want to clean your face with a cold, wet cloth once or twice a day between showers, partly to keep that oil from soaking into your pours despite them being closed (they will open back up a little bit during the day), and partly to keep the "shine" off of your face.

Pimples inside your nose are the worst. Very hard to get to, and very sensitive. They don't show, so that's a good thing. But they hurt like hell, and you can't pop them, and if you try, you just look like you're picking your nose.

You need pacience to get rid of them.Firstly,you should avoid any oil food and secondly drink too much water please ,At last you can try some good products ,like relaxed acne removing instrument,I heard it is good enough to cure acne .Find it in google or in facebook.

It is unlikely that you can get rid of pimples in two days; I suggest that you just conceal them with makeup, for your class picture. Or have a word with the photographer, persuade him/her to remove the spots with Photoshop etc.
