There are many different types of solutions. Some examples of different solutions are isotonic solutions, hypertonic solutions and hypotonic solutions.

I am not sure since I have been doing some research, and turned up little data. However, anecdotally my interest comes from being unable to recall much of my childhood from before I went off ADHD meds at the age of 9-ish (about 3 years). I am only 25 & have heard of others having similar experiences--but there is not much study on the issue. Hopefully we can find out more.

Basically, be cautious with psyche meds. They can in many cases be quite harmful, but make a really positive impact on some people's lives. Just track how you or your child/friend/etc are doing & don't let yourself get carried away by a drug-happy psychiatrist . Good luck

Answer: This is a very good question and I'm glad you asked it. Not many people think that you can get addicted to Adderall just because a doctor prescribes it to you. This is because more than 3/4 of Americans believe if a doctor prescribes it to you , it can in no way be harmful[[which is totally untrue]] It is very difficult going through withdrawal from Adderall or any other stimulant for that matter (but especially Adderall since it is one of the more potent stimulants out there today)and here are the reasons why. Adderall is a very addictive drug physically and mentally.It is rough on your body and mind after high doses or long periods of time(or even both). There are tons of withdrawal symptoms, some of the more serious include : extreme fatigue and exhaustion (you wake up feeling exhausted instead of refreshed), severe depression(may lead to suicial thoughts or behaviors),psychosis(seeing and/or hearing things that are not real, or losing touch with reality, having hallucinations), paranoia(becoming highly suspicious or accusing people of things), rapid/irregular heart rhythms,extreme feelings of emptiness or discontent( nothing occupies you, strange feelings of boredom towards usually fun activities), headaches and nausea, insomnia (hard to fall asleep);anxiety and or panic attacks (feeling overwhelmed, worrying, and feeling anxious, chest hurts, and its hard to breath, sweating), irritability and intense anger, and many more. These were literally all I could think of that I experience on a daily basis from withdrawal. hope this helps.****

Yes you can take adderall. adderall is not a sulfa (short for sulfonamide) drug. Adderall contains a sulfate (salt) . This is very different from sulfa drugs which actually contain sulfur. the chemical structures of these drugs are very different. Sulfonamides have the structure (R-SO2-NH2) whereas adderall's structure is (C9H13N) so there is no cross-reactivity seen between these 2 classes of drugs. Look on the wikipedia site under sulfa drugs to see a list of all the (sulfa) drugs that would cause an allergic reaction. It shows a list of antibiotic and non-antibiotic sulfonamides.

This does not mean that you can not have a reaction to adderall but it would be for a dfferent reason.

as long as you can prove that your are doctor prescribed to it absolutely positively not they cant fire you for the life of them........most company drug tests on the tester they have categories to see what you failed for example uppers downers amphetamines all that

Yes. But it's out of your system in 3 days anyways. Personally for me it showed up, but luckily I was able to obtain a prescription before the test so there wasn't much they could do about it.

When I feel it wearing off I tend to get a headache, I become tired, and a bit irritable. But I'm sure different people have different reactions exspecially if people take them for non-prescribed reasons.

Amphetamine works as a dopamine transport substrate where as methylphenidate works as a dopamine transport blocker. Methylphenidate is most active at modulating levels of dopamine and to a lesser extent noradrenaline and serotonin.

No there is no caffeine in adderall. Adderall is composed of mixed amphetamine salts. However like caffeine, amphetamine is a stimulant and all stimulants increase the amount of the neurotransmitter dopamine in the brain, so in that sense they are similar. Adderal is much more powerful since it is an amphetamine called dextroamphetamine, but it has the psychological attitude of "on top of the world to extremely depressed" which has to do with the dopamine not being released naturally anymore. But it can go back to normal if enough time passes.

I had the same question, I also took an ADD medication with Lexapro. I was prescribed them at the same time. I did my research and found that you should NOT start taking them at the same time. Start one and start taking the other about 2 weeks after or they will interact. But other than that, you can certianly take them at the same time. Depression and ADD seem to go hand in hand a lot.

The only two reasons to really crush Adderal is because the patient is having trouble swallowing, or because it is being snorted for a high.

If the patient is having trouble swallowing, there can be some other things going on. Instead of just crushing the tablets, the primary care physician should be consulted to make sure there is not a more serious underlying condition. They may also be able to switch the patient from a tablet to a capsule.

There is no correct answer to this question. I was prescribed 90mg of adderall per day at once. It depends on the person, and what all other factors may go into account. But speaking from experience as i am a drug addict, I've taken up to 3000(not 300, but 3 thousand)milligrams of adderall within a 5 day period. But i am not in any way recommending you do this. That would be very stupid. 70mg in a 24 hour period sounds relativlely safe to me tho.
