These are 2 totally different medications. Adderall is a stimulant used to treat ADHD and Xanax is a sedative used for anxiety. So to answer your question, xanax is better.

I'm a big dude (6' 3", 280 lbs.) and I would really aggressive coming off 30 or 35 milligram tablets. You really don't get to aggressive while you are on it, only coming off of it. And I wouldn't really describe it as aggressive, it's more of a pissed of "f**k the world"/"nothing's going right" feeling as your body is telling you that you want more. Hope this helps.

I've been taking Adderall for a very long time now for my AD/HD. I have experimented with it in many ways and in my opinion and in other peoples that i have talked to. My answer is NO! You don't get better results, it just hits you faster than it normally would.

Adderall is one of the safest stimulant medications to take....Also, death from these medications is extremely rare. The only reason they placed that black box warning about death on these medications was because of the several children that died in Canada.

In technicality, you can't die from this medication unless you have a congenital heart defect or high blood pressure OR you severely overdose. The children that have died were from the following...congenital heart defects, overdose, and putting excessive stress upon the heart while on adderall...something that you DO NOT do. Yet, all of these parents sit around and blame adderall. I personally believe that this is a result of neglect and misinformation, not adderall.

Although it may not be wise to go an begin takin medications when you are clearly aware you are not in need of it,you need to advise your doctor you are having a very difficult time concentrating and are very jittery. You want to imply the symptons of add without making it obvious that you are on a hunt for adderall

of course, I'm not a doctor, but yes, it's safe to take these two drugs in combination. 50mg of pristiq and 15mg IR of adderall are both safe doses, it would be perfectly fine to take in conjunction with one another.

all four of those drugs are very effective at treating the specific illness they are designed to treat. as to whether they are safe to take TOGETHER or not, I'm not sure. here are my personal feedback opinions on all four: adderall: very effective in the treatment of ADD and ADHD, can have nasty side effects though (appetite suppression, insomnia, dizziness etc). seroquel: powerful antipsychotic, typically used in the treatment of schizophrenia, effective and has few side effects (compared to other antipsychotics). topamax: can be used to control epilepsy or in management of migraines. not a lot of side effects; can suppress appetite or cause drowsiness. citalopram: effective SSRI used in treatment and management of depression. the combination of these 4 drugs provides no contraindication worthy of stopping them; however, the adderall could actually be causing or exacerbating symptoms you are trying to treat with the other medications (adderall can have rebound depression, can cause hypertension/migraine headaches).

I used to take 90mg of Adderall XR. That was in 30mg 3 times daily. I would say your dose is ok, pretty low and normal.

YES!!! Adderall can be used for weight loss, although it is not healthy. When a person doesn't have ADHD or ADD it has the opposite effect. It works as if you were on speed, your no longer hungry as long as your on the pill so you do not eat which causes you to lose weight. Plus, you have alot of energy. The downside is it makes you feel like you're on meth or in other words a "tweeker." You cant sleep, you figit & move around constantly, you talk a lot, it's pretty much a VERY VERY strong diet pill...but is VERY VERY addictive. I WOULD NOT recomend taking the pill.

You can, but shouldn't because your blood levels of Adderall XR will drop and you can get depressed and the medicine will not work as well that day as for what it was prescribed for, ADHD, even tho there is some still in your system because it's an extended release, meaning for that drug it works medicinally for 12 hours. A drug holiday, called by drug abusers, that take a break from such drugs because they get a tolerance for it and want to get there tolerance lower so they can get a high from the drug again and always take more than would usually be prescribed. Adderall is an amphetamine and dextro amphetamine medicine.

Adderall XR delivers the amphetamines into your system at different times through out the day. for example taking 30mg of XR would give you 15 when you take it and 15 about 4 hours later. Adderall IR (instant release) delivers the entire pill at one time, minutes after taking.

well it can definitely further elivate your blood preasure and put more strain on your heart. depending on your health its hard to say.
