What is the difference between taper ratio and aspect ratio?
(For televisions)
Aspect ratio is the ratio of the width of the television screen to the height.
TVs do not have taper ratios.
(For airplanes)
Aspect ratio is a ratio of the wing span squared to the wing's reference area. This gives you a sense of how thin/slender a wing will appear from the top view of the aircraft. High aspect ratio means a long/extended wing.
b² / S
("b" is wing span, "S" is wing area)
Taper ratio is the ratio of the wingtip's length to the wing root's length. This gives you a sense of the angle the shape of the wing. High taper ratio means a triangular shaped wing.
t/r
("t" is length of the wingtip, "r" is length of wing's root)
It's difficult to compare the quality of two schools with different academic goals. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) claims to have the world's best research-oriented aerospace engineering program, and offers a PhD as its highest degree. On the other hand, Embry Riddle claims to be the world's best aviation and aerospace engineering school with an emphasis on science, practice and business applications. The highest degree Embry Riddle offers is a Master's.
In terms of academic quality, MIT is considered the better school by far. U.S. News & World Reports gives MIT, which is ranked first in the schools offering PhDs, an overall score of 94; they give Embry Riddle (Daytona Campus), ranked first in schools offering a Master's, a score of 73.
Interestingly, Embry Riddle's Prescott, AZ campus is ranked third for Master's degrees, behind both the Daytona campus and the United States Air Force Academy.
Some other differences include selectivity: MIT admits only 12.5% of applicants; Embry Riddle admits 78.3%.
MIT's tuition and fees for 2008-09 is $36,390; Embry Riddle's is $27,540.
Before choosing a school, it's wise to consider your career goals and which program is a better fit for your specific interests.

What is prandtl number and what is its significance?
Prandtl number is dimensionless number, denoted by Npr.Npr = Cp (viscosity)/(thermal conductivity)
Cp - specific heat, J per ( Kg Kelvin)
viscosity in poise (gm per( cm sec))
thermal conductivity in Watt per (meter kelvin)
Prandtl number is important in heat transfer.

Computer use in aerospace engineering?
Almost everything in the aerospace field requires computer use. Some of the most computing intensive simulations run on super-computers all over the world come from aerospace engineering. Only to give you a few examples: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), large eddy simulations (and in general any type of fluid mechanics simulations), combustion modelling, stress analysis, automated pilots (in general avionics), aircraft design etc etc etc.
What were the major mergers and acquisitions over the last five years?
"What were the Major mergers and acquisitions over the last five years in all sector of business?list them." can i get mor informationabout the above mergers and acquisition
This is impossible. Electricity is the result of electrons flowing through a conductor while jet fuel is a refined liquid byproduct of oil. As for "pollutant carbon" plants would disagree.
What metric class of fit is f7?
f7 (yes, it really does matter whether you use an upper case or lower case letter) is a shaft tolerance, which is, generallyspeaking, used for close tolerance (clearance) fits.
But it depends on the size of the mating component.
'JP-7', where JP stands for 'Jet Propellant' is a jet fuel for the use in supersonic aircraft because of its high flash and thermal stability.
For example in SR-71,because of the high temp. environment in which the engine operates, it uses low volatile JP 7 jet fuel which requires a chemical ignition system.
Aerostat radar is a low-level surveillance system that uses aerostats (moored balloons) as radar platforms.
Where is national institute of aeronautical engineering located?
The National Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (NIAE) is located in Delhi, India. It is known for offering various programs related to aeronautical engineering and aviation. The institute aims to provide quality education and training in the field of aerospace and aviation technologies.
Missiles with a free spin rate tail section benefit from greater stability and maneuverability during flight, as they can naturally adjust their orientation based on aerodynamic forces. This can lead to improved accuracy and reduced drift. In contrast, forced spin rate tail sections can create predictable, but potentially less adaptive flight paths, which may be less effective in dynamic combat scenarios. Ultimately, the free spin design allows for enhanced performance in varied conditions.
