Bucephalus died before Alexander, after the battle of Hydaspes in 326 B.C. in which Alexander defeated Porus. Alexander is said to have founded a city called Bucephala in honour of his horse.

Alexander the great was born in the empire of Macedonia which would make him a number of modern day nationality's he could of been born in country's such as Bulgaria Macedonia Hungary or Albania.

He used to pay gold and lands to those Soldiers and their family members who were fighting for him.

He used to conquer kingdoms, used to loot those and disburse in his army.

He wanted to use the Greeks to augment his military power to take over the Persian Empire.

Alexander first had to conquer the empire to rule it. By the time he had finished the conquest, he died. So we would have to imagine what he might have done if he had lived to fully implement the areas he had already begun - to Hellenise the empire as a civilising influence on society.

I believe it means that it is typical of human beings to want to be credited with everything.The truth,however,will reveal to us that the greater and more important an achievement is,the more people would have been involved.After American astronauts had landed on the moon in 1969,there was controversy as to who should step on it first because they all wanted to be referred to as being the first to step on the moon.But not all great men resents a partner in greatness.
