What would your GPA be if you got three B's and one C?

2.75

Each B is worth 3 points, each C is worth 2 points.

3+3+3+2= 11. Divide that by four (four classes) to get 2.75.

If you're in college, however, you need to factor in the credit hours. If each class has the same number of credit hours, your GPA will still be 2.75. If they aren't all worth the same number of credits, here's how you figure it out:

(Grade x Hours)+(Grade 2 x hours) + (Grade 3 x hours) + (Grade 4 x hours). Divide the sum from that by the total number of hours.

elkhart indiana, same factory as selmers

I would say it depends on when it was made. Early Blessings were probably made at Elkhart, but more recent ones were probably made in the far east with the Blessing name added. An overview of the Blessing history can be seen at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E._K._Blessing

Is there a big advantage to having a professional model mouthpiece on a student model saxophone?

Once your embouchure has developed enough to handle a professional mouthpiece, it can be a significant advantage. Until then, it's not a good idea. Professional pieces are developed for particular styles and genres, and may provide a lot of flexibility in pitch and sound quality. They often require more air, although that's not always true. The player must have the strength and technique to control that flexibility or he/she may find it tiring or difficult to play in tune.
