Can you use a laptop on an American Airlines flight?

Yes, of course. You can use laptops on any airline. But only during the flight, after the plane has reached cruising altitude, and the flight attendants have announced that it's "OK to begin using approved electronic devices" (laptops, video games, MP3 players, etc.). You cannot use any electronic device during take-off or landing. If you do, it's no big deal, but the flight attendant will tell you to put it away, and you'd better do so if they ask. If you disobey any command they give you, you're breaking Federal Law.

When did American fidelity assurance change its name from American standard life accident insurance company?

What exactly are you looking for? Accident only coverage? Not a good idea when full coverage is only a few dollars more. Your local bank usually has a cheap non-comprehensive accident only plan for you.

Are crutches allowed on airline flights?

Generally speaking, on any airline, you can take whatever kind of medical or assistive device, if you need it due to a handicap or any legitimate medical reason. The law requires this. There are some exceptions of course. Crutches are fine, absolutely. But some things, such as Oxygen machines, have detailed rules governing what you can take and what you cannot.

It depends on which airlines you are flying and whether it is a domestic or an international flight. I think on a lot of airlines the limit for carry-on baggage is 1 bag and under the plane baggage is 2 bags per person. It all depends on the airline though. * One carry-on plus one personal item (no charge), two checked bags (no charge, $50 fee for each additional bag)

What Airline has the most Legroom in coach seating?

I doubt that you would be asking this question as a frequent flyer. So, I'm assuming that you have a limited need. That's not a bad thing because a detailed answer to your question would be very difficult to give. Every airline has more than one model of plane, and different models often have slightly different amounts of leg room. Also, as most people are aware, there are some seats that will have decent leg room on any plane (exit row).

Go to www.seatguru.com, and you can view the legroom as well as seat width which can be just as important at times for different airlines and different planes within their fleet. Simply choose from the airlines on the left. Then, choose the plane. It will actually give you a very detailed map of good or bad seats along with a very simple measurement at the top of the page.

How many planes crash per year?

There is actually almost none if we're talking about commercial airline crashes. Maybe one or two in a few years than just one.

Small private planes however crash more often.

Death while ON a play (not having it crash) is about 20 a year. So statistically, sitting in your home is more dangerous than riding a plane. Which also means, that vending machines kill more people each year, than commercial airline crashes.

But if there WAS a crash, death tolls would probably be high. So as people, we feel safer while we have control of our fate, such as in a car. But isn't more safe.

There is actually almost none if we're talking about commercial airline crashes. Maybe one or two in a few years than just one.
