technically there is not going to be a 5th season but there are 5 sections of Ojamajo Doremi. CLANNAD:

Okazaki Tomoya is a delinquent who finds life dull and believes he'll never amount to anything. Along with his friend Sunohara, he skips school and plans to waste his high school days away.

One day while walking to school, Tomoya passes a young girl muttering quietly to herself. Without warning she exclaims "Anpan!" (a popular Japanese food) which catches Tomoya's attention. He soon discovers the girl's name is Furukawa Nagisa and that she exclaims things she likes in order to motivate herself. Nagisa claims they are now friends, but Tomoya walks away passing the encounter off as nothing.

However, Tomoya finds he is noticing Nagisa more and more around school. Eventually he concedes and befriends her. Tomoya learns Nagisa has been held back a year due to a severe illness and that her dream is to revive the school's drama club. Claiming he has nothing better to do, he decides to help her achieve this goal along with the help of four other girls.

As Tomoya spends more time with the girls, he learns more about them and their problems. As he attempts to help each girl overcome her respective obstacle, he begins to realise life isn't as dull as he once thought.

CLANNAD is my FAVOURITE anime ever. It is a must watch :) If you watch the first season then you have to watch the second (CLANNAD ~After Story~) :)

Kanon 2006:

Kanon is made by the same company as CLANNAD, however, you will want to be careful in case you watch Kanon 2002, which apparently has more story, but is older. I haven't seen Kanon 2002 though ;)

Kanon has romance, and at the same time tragedy.

Angel Beats!:

It sucks being dead. There is also Angel Beats, (again made by Key) but that is violent as well as being romance. It's story is amazing, and so is the ending. And some parts are really sad :'(

Not likely, the visual novel of the same name in which Clannad was adapted from ended where the second season left. The only way there would ever be another season would be if they adapted Tomoyo After, but is still wouldn't be the same because it does not follow the original story at all.

I was a bit sad as well to realize that there would be no more Clannad, but you could always play the visual-novel (there was a English patch released by some nice fan-subbers), which has more story than the anime adaption had ( I haven't played it yet, but I read something where some guy said that there was 200+ hours of character development). You could also play Tomoyo After (there has yet to be an English patch released, although Doki fansubs is currently working on it), but be wary, it doesn't follow the original story and is a for ages 18+ game (features scenes of a sexual nature).
