I'm always full but I have to force myself to eat so my parents dont think I'm becoming aneroxic again. What do you do?

You could monitor the number of calories you eat. This would provide an objective measurement of if you are eating a healthy amount.

Can you have an eating disorder without knowing trying to?

Can you have an eating disorder without knowing: yes

Can you have an eating disorder without trying: yes

Eating disorders are mental illnesses, not weight-loss aids, people don't develop an eating disorder on purpose. Often they won't know or believe that they are ill, which makes them difficult to treat.

I don't know if this is what you were asking, the question is quite vague. So if this doesn't answer your question feel free to clarify.

You got 2 new bumblebee gobies and they are not eating what do you do eating?

Bumblebee Gobies are fussy eaters.

Generally speaking (there will be exceptions), you won't get them eating anything other than live and frozen foods.

Most common foods are:

• Frozen / Live Bloodworm

• Frozen / Live Artemia (Brine Shrimp)

• Frozen / Live Daphnia

You may also want to try other other live / frozen foods.

You should be able to get these from your LFS (Local Fish Shop), although there are plenty of online retailers as well.

There is a nice list of live foods which you can grow (along with more detailed guides on growing other live foods) here:

Good Luck xD

Can you be sectioned for anorexia if you decide to leave hospital with a BMI of 17.5 and Is there a BMI you cannot be sectioned under?

Based on weight alone, it would be unlikely that someone with an eating disorder would be sectioned if they attempted to leave hospital with a BMI 17.5. Detaining people under the mental health act is always used as a last resort, and in order to be detained there needs to be adequate medical evidence that it is necessary.

Based on weight alone, generally a bmi at which someone may be sectioned would be ROUGHLY any where from bmi 13 and under.

HOWEVER...

Treatment should never be based on weight alone/bmi and other factors, such as blood chemistry, physical strength including heart rate etc, psychological factors i.e suicidal ideation, severe self harm should always be considered.

Meaning that, someone with a bmi of 17.5 WITH another health issue related to their eating disorder can be sectioned if it is agreed necessary to preserve life or the individuals life would be at serious risk if left to their own devices.

At any weight with any form of eating disorder, providing the individuals health is seriously compromised in some form, for example, an individual with Bulimia at a BMI 22 presents with extremely low potassium levels and refuses treatment, then this person may well be sectioned.

It is maybe more common that people sectioned for their eating disorder are at lower weights, because of the many health issues that accompany low body weight. It is important though, to recognise that ALL eating disorders are dangerous and ALL eating disorders can be life threatening, regardless of weight.

Hope that helps a tad.

What can you do to make yourself eat Currently having a hard time with food You have to gain at least 2 kilos in under a week but need encouragement for long term results?

you can plan your meals for the day. just think of how many servings of fruit and vegetables you need a day and try to aim and eat all those servings. your body is a temple of God and you should treat yourself right. Remember there is nothing wrong with eating healthy and exercising. But taking that to an extreme is where the problem starts. i wish you luck.

What are ways to not need to eat I am 5' 5 and 113 lb and I want to lose weight I am working out twice a week and that will go up to 6 times a week when track starts How do I not need to eat?

1. Your body mass index (BMI) is 18.8, which means that you are at a healthy weight.

2. You need food in order to live, and not eating will actually cause you to GAIN weight. Your body will hold onto everything you eat in order to have a supply of nutrients to fall back on.

3. The more you are exercising, the more you need to eat. You are burning so many calories, and your body needs those calories to be replenished.

Do you have to weigh a certain amount to model?

Yes, exactly 3 pounds and 2 ounces. No of course not! Not a particular weight, as I understand it, but those whose dimensions and proportions match one of the industry standard sizes will have an advantage. Off-the-rack clothes will fit nicely without alteration. ive been in modeling for several years now and it depends on the companie and what there looking for they might need plus size models or run way models which in that case you must weigh i think for most companies its 120 lbs. i stay between 115 and 120. I'm overweight (200 pounds, but losing some), and I was offered a job with a talent agency that did mostly modeling associated(sp?) things. They are many modeling jobs that dont care about your weight, or look for overweight people for Plus Size modeling.

Are you classified as bulimic if you eat around 500 cals a day exercise and only throw up sometimes?

No.

A person suffering from bulimia binges then does inappropriate compensatory actions, such as purging or taking laxatives or diuretics or over-exercising. To be classified as bulimic, a person must meet the DSM-IV guidelines:

# Recurrent episodes of binge eating. An episode of binge eating is characterized by both of the following:(1) Eating, in a discrete period of time (eg, within any 2-hour period), an amount of food that is definitely larger than most people would eat during a similar period of time and under similar circumstances.(2) A sense of lack of control over eating during the episode (eg, a feeling that one cannot stop eating or control what or how much one is eating). # Recurrent inappropriate compensatory behavior in order to prevent weight gain, such as self-induced vomiting; misuse of laxatives, diuretics, enemas or other medications; fasting or excessive exercise. # The binge eating and inappropriate compensatory behaviors both occur, on average, at least twice a week for 3 months. # Self-evaluation is unduly influenced by body shape and weight. # The disturbance does not occur exclusively during episodes of anorexia nervosa. Specify type: * Purging type: During the current episode of bulimia nervosa, the person has regularly engaged in self-induced vomiting or the misuse of laxatives, diuretics or enemas. * Nonpurging type: During the current episode of bulimia nervosa, the person has used inappropriate compensatory behaviors, such as fasting or excessive exercise, but has not regularly engaged in self-induced vomiting or the misuse of laxatives, diuretics or enemas.

A person with anorexia can either have purging-type anorexia (restricted food intake with purging) or restricting-type anorexia (solely based on caloric restriction). To be classified as anorexic, you must meet DSM-IV-TR guidelines:

# Refusal to maintain body weight at or above a minimally normal weight for age and height (e.g., weight loss leading to maintenance of body weight less than 85% of that expected; or failure to make expected weight gain during period of growth, leading to body weight less than 85% of that expected). # Intense fear of gaining weight or becoming obese. # Disturbance in the way in which one's body weight or shape is experienced, undue influence of body weight or shape on self-evaluation, or denial of the seriousness of the current low body weight. # The absence of at least three consecutive menstrual cycles (amenorrhea), in women who have had their first menstrual period but have not yet gone through menopause (postmenarcheal, premenopausal females).

However, a person who does not meet all of the elements of either the Bulimia Nervosa or Anorexia Nervosa diagnosis may still have a serious eating disorder. EDNOS (eating disorder not otherwise specified) can still be a very serious diagnosis. If you think that you or someone you know is suffering from an eating disorder of any kind, it is crucial to seek professional (medical and psychological) help immediately.

If you stop eating for a week then start again how long will it take you metabolism to return to normal again?

It'll take about 2 or so weeks for it to return to normal. Exercising can help speed it up to about a 1-week recovery period, though.

What do you eat to be anorexic?

You don't eat anything haha! Stupid question, smh.

How do you loose 20 pounds by starving yourself for 10 days urgent?

Go ahead, try it. Completely starve yourself for 10 days. Let yourself experience the brink of death. Honestly, if you starve yourself like that, all that will happen is:

- You will pass out A LOT as you have absolutely no nutrients in your body

- The second you eat something, you'll gain a TON of weight. Why? Your body thinks you're always going to be starving, so it completely stores everything you eat as fat. You won't be able to get your metabolism back to normal for AT LEAST a month after that. Possibly even a year.

Seriously, I've been down the same path, it's not fun. You aren't fat, you don't need to lose 20 pounds. If you really, really, want to lose it, don't be stupid - just make good decisions! Want a snack? Just eat an apple. Apples encourage weight loss. As for meals? EAT NORMALLY. I'm dead serious, don't starve yourself.

What is anorexia nervosa-?

Anorexia Nervosa (anorexia, for short) is an eating disorder characterized by the inability or unwillingness to eat. Those who suffer from anorexia (anorexics) feel that they are too fat and must starve themselves as a sort of extreme diet to lose weight.

Often, this means a refusal to eat or a strict limitation of what a person will eat, along with intense or extensive physical exercise to burn off the calories that have been consumed when forced to eat. They also may incorporate bulimia and over-use of laxatives to eliminate perceived sources of obesity, while adult weights can plummet to seventy pounds and less.

It is a dangerous disorder that can cause serious complications both mentally and physically. In severe cases, anorexia can be fatal due to organ damage from the starving body attempting to reabsorb protein from internal organs, including the heart, which often leads to heart attacks and irreversible heart and organ damage.

It is believed by many who treat and study the disorder, to be caused by an altered body image and a pathological need to control things that seem out of control, manifesting in various symptoms, including refusal to eat although hungry, as a mechanism of control. But it is still not a well understood disorder.
