You cannoy really force a person with anorexia to eat. It may be possible to get them to eat a little (as the disorder would allow them to), but real food consumption can only really be obtained through treatment and professional / medical help.

How the body protects itself from anorexia?
The body will begging to "protect" itself in different ways.
The metabolism will slow to require less calories daily to survive.
In women, the menstrual cycle will slow or stop completely in order to conserve energy and nutrients in the body.
Weight loss will slow as the body struggles to hold onto fat.
A thin layer of hair, called lanugo, will grow all over the body. It is like a downy fuzz, often called "peach fuzz", and the body tries to stay warm with less body fat. A thin layer of hair will act like another insulator, meaning less enegry and calories are spent trying to keep the body warm.
Fatigue will set in as the malnourished body tries even more to conserve energy and calories.
I don't want to be one of those people who freak out and say "DONT DO IT!" Because that's annoying and I understand. But, hear me out. From experience, starving yourself doesn't work. I'm not telling you that just because it's unhealthy. In the long run, you probably won't lose much weight and you'll actually gain body fat. When you don't eat your body freaks out and stores fat from any little food you eat. Your body shuts down and hold on to the little food you have because it doesn't know when it'll get it's next meal. Also, whether you think you can go without food or not, you can't. You're human and you'll break and might even binge eat when you break. Honestly, after struggling so long I gained about ten pounds of unhealthy fat. I screwed up my metabolism and struggled to actually eat healthy again. Don't try to starve yourself it sucks. Find excercise you like. Get all your nutrients! I know how hard it is and I'm here if you need someone to relate to you!
You could monitor the number of calories you eat. This would provide an objective measurement of if you are eating a healthy amount.
Can you have an eating disorder without knowing trying to?
Can you have an eating disorder without knowing: yes
Can you have an eating disorder without trying: yes
Eating disorders are mental illnesses, not weight-loss aids, people don't develop an eating disorder on purpose. Often they won't know or believe that they are ill, which makes them difficult to treat.
I don't know if this is what you were asking, the question is quite vague. So if this doesn't answer your question feel free to clarify.
You got 2 new bumblebee gobies and they are not eating what do you do eating?
Bumblebee Gobies are fussy eaters.
Generally speaking (there will be exceptions), you won't get them eating anything other than live and frozen foods.
Most common foods are:
• Frozen / Live Bloodworm
• Frozen / Live Artemia (Brine Shrimp)
• Frozen / Live Daphnia
You may also want to try other other live / frozen foods.
You should be able to get these from your LFS (Local Fish Shop), although there are plenty of online retailers as well.
There is a nice list of live foods which you can grow (along with more detailed guides on growing other live foods) here:

Good Luck xD
Based on weight alone, it would be unlikely that someone with an eating disorder would be sectioned if they attempted to leave hospital with a BMI 17.5. Detaining people under the mental health act is always used as a last resort, and in order to be detained there needs to be adequate medical evidence that it is necessary.
Based on weight alone, generally a bmi at which someone may be sectioned would be ROUGHLY any where from bmi 13 and under.
HOWEVER...
Treatment should never be based on weight alone/bmi and other factors, such as blood chemistry, physical strength including heart rate etc, psychological factors i.e suicidal ideation, severe self harm should always be considered.
Meaning that, someone with a bmi of 17.5 WITH another health issue related to their eating disorder can be sectioned if it is agreed necessary to preserve life or the individuals life would be at serious risk if left to their own devices.
At any weight with any form of eating disorder, providing the individuals health is seriously compromised in some form, for example, an individual with Bulimia at a BMI 22 presents with extremely low potassium levels and refuses treatment, then this person may well be sectioned.
It is maybe more common that people sectioned for their eating disorder are at lower weights, because of the many health issues that accompany low body weight. It is important though, to recognise that ALL eating disorders are dangerous and ALL eating disorders can be life threatening, regardless of weight.
Hope that helps a tad.
you can plan your meals for the day. just think of how many servings of fruit and vegetables you need a day and try to aim and eat all those servings. your body is a temple of God and you should treat yourself right. Remember there is nothing wrong with eating healthy and exercising. But taking that to an extreme is where the problem starts. i wish you luck.
