Nothing can replace prednisone. I suggest you go to your local A&E department or pharmacy, preferably with a previous prescription slip and tell them that you have lost your prednisone. They should provide you with emergency supplies.

Prednisone causes adrenal suppression, therefore you will stop producing your natural steroid. If you simply stop taking prednisone, then you can go into Addisonian crisis and die.
