I see no-one wants to answer this one! Haldol or Haloperidol is one tricky drug to guess interactions with, as it affects EVERYONE differently. I would be willing to bet that tour physician could give you a definitive answer. Strangers here cannot. Be very careful using Haldol w/ anything!

They are all 3 Benzodiazapiene so there is now way a standard pee test can tell, even for probation.

No. Ativan is a Benzodiazepine, not a Barbitiurate. That said, Benzodiazepines, like Barbiturates are Schedule IV drugs - meaning it can and probably will be screened for in drug tests.

Ativan is a brand name for the generic Lorazepam. Lorazepam is a fairly mild drug in the class of minor tranquilizers known as benzodiazepines. It is most commonly used to reduce anxiety, aid sleep, and to rapidly end a working seizure. As with all benzodiazepines both physical and psychological dependency can occur after long term use especially in those who abuse the drug for it's euphoric effect and continually increase the dosage when the effect is no longer attained. Continual proper long-term use of Ativan under a doctor's supervision causes no real serious physical problems other than the dependency described above. Discontinuing the use of any benzodiazepine after long term use is a serious affair, and should be done under a doctor's care only. Too rapid a reduction in dosage or a "cold turkey" termination of use will cause rebound anxiety, uncomfortable withdrawal, and frequently seizures. These seizures are serious and can often lead to death.

That answer is COMPLETELY dependent upon several variables. First, how much experience do you have taking benzodiazepines? If you have taken drugs in this class of medication regularly for any length of time you will have begun to develop some degree of tolerance and the medication will have less effect. Second, how tall are you and how much do you weigh? Any psychotropic drug that must be ingested is distributed somatically and the larger the body the more it takes to have the same effect. Third, have you eaten recently? If you have the drug will find its way into your system more slowly. Fourth, the effects will last different lengths of time depending on how effective your liver is at metabolizing it and your kidneys are at excreting it.

There is no actual answer to your question.

There are other variables that will affect the drug's rate of efficacy and how long you will be affected by it like if you take any other medications or not or if you drink (which you should NEVER do with benzodiazepines).

Don't ever, ever use corriceden. It is filled with nasty stuff that is good in small amounts for actual colds, but when abused is very unsafe. Use Robotussin cough gels. The only active ingredient listed is Dextromethorphan Hbr.

and yes, at high levels DXM (the active ingredient in CCC's or Robotussin) can interact with SSRI's such as Zoloft and cause some nasty problems such as Seratoinin syndome, high blood pressure, heart problems, hypertension...

Here is the half-life (time for half of it to get out of your system), from Wikipedia. It takes several half-lives (depending on the test method) before it's undetectable. For example, 99% (127/128) of the xanax will be gone after 3 days (7 half-lives).

Klonopin: 18-50 hours

Xanax: 11 hrs

Valium: 20-200 hrs

Cocaine: 1 hr

Dexedrine (that's what you meant, right?): 10-28 hrs

You probably could, but before you do you should visit the Related Link. Haldol can have serious side effects, even when used under the care of a physician. Using it illegally or without the oversight of a doctor can have serious consequences (besides possible legal ones).

I've been taking it for 4 days straight and it does seem to have an effect, although keep in mind it's been 4 days and it could wear off. Also, I took it regularly, instead of just when I felt anxious.

There would be no need to mix those doses, you will probably just pass out. Also it depends on the amount of alcohol that you drink too as this is where there could be major problems.

Answer #2: Ativan CAN be used as a muscle relaxant, but it would be very uncommon for a doctor to prescribe it specifically for this as there are better options in the "muscle relaxant" category that have much less addictive potential (Flexeril, Zanaflex, Robaxin, Skelaxin, Soma, etc.).

That being said, Ativan is one of the benzodiazepines that DOES possess all of the intrinsic properties of benzos: anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, sedative-hypnotic, amnesic, and yes-- muscle relaxant. A sixth intrinsic property primarily attributed to Ativan that has recently been coined among the benzos is it's effectiveness as an "antiemetic"-- it decreases nausea. Only Ativan and Versed can lay claim to all six properties.

What would make you think snorting any medication that's prescribed to be taken orally is okay? The combination of Xanax (Alprazolam), Vicodin (Hydrocodone), and Ativan (Lorazepam) is a lethal combination of Opiates and Benzodiazepines. Snorting any medication that was not designed to nasally ingested can result in tissue damage in the nose and sinus cavities. Not to mention it can damage your brain. The ending result will be brain damage and the inability to smell.
