The 2012 Audi A4 has a continuously variable-speed automatic.

My money is riding on the headlight switch.

Take out old onverter. replace two gaskets and 6 bolts. all you need is hammer spanner wd40 jack and jack stands

It is in the the truck lid - too gain access to it you need to remove the liner -

-remove the one visible screw located in an indentation on the passenger side of the lid

-remove the emergency opening handle: separate the green plastic section from the rest of the handle and there will be a torx screw under there.

-remove the plastic cover on the latch mechanism-it may be difficult but it is not glued or screwed

-pull of the liner - there are about 6 or 8 metal clips that just pull out of their insertion points in the lid.

Then you will see an enormously complex, ridiculously over-engineered collection of wires, plates and black boxes. I believe the antenna is the copper-colored plate. I think the black boxes are amplifiers. However, I have found no (useful) information on the net actually describing what these items are or how they work together.

I have a 2001 model so I'm guessing its the same. Inside the boot to the rear you should see a round cover pop it open to reveal a hexaginal screw. Get a ratchet or socket set and just unscrew. The whole housing containing the taillight bulb will start to loosen unclip the wiring and change bulb.

In the B6 (2002) pry the cover from the rear toward the front, use an 8mm socket to remove the 1 screw. This loosens the entire lens. The far side of the lens has 2 protrusions that push into 2 rubber grommets. Pull the lens toward the back of the car. The whole bulb panel unsnaps off the lens at the sides. Remove the bulb circuit board and locate the bad (or as in my case loose) bulb.

maybe the plug under your seat has been unplugged, you will have to check the connections and then get the computer system reset using vagcom by an Audi dealership to see if that has resolved the problem

This should be fairly easy to do. First fill the coolant to the max mark on the tank. Then see if it almost automatically loses some coolant (it might almost burp its self) if it doesn't squeeze the big top tube right next to the coolant tank this will send some air back into the tank. Second uncover the bleeder valve for the system which should be hidden under a plastic cover near the windshield at the back of the engine compartment (taking off the cover is very easy). Look on the driverside near where the coolant tubes enter the heater, there should be a screw valve on the top tube. Third with the coolant tank cap off start the car, get it running hot, but watch the coolant level to make sure it does not over flow. Once it start to get hot, unscrew the bleeder valve and wait until it has a good flow of coolant coming out of it. This should bleed the system. Watch the coolant level, and refill as needed.

yes you can, just replace the stock diverter valve and throw the bov in there

Remove the wiper arm from the wiper motor. Remove the wiring harness from the wiper motor. Remove the wiper motor retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new wiper motor.

Most likely it is the headgasket being blown. Check the coolant level. If there is oil in the coolant and water in the oil there is your clue.

The Audi A4 platform with some radio systems had the radio power the two front speakers. The rear speakers were powered by an amplifier which is actually attached to the speaker with all of these wires that you see. I know in my 1999 Audi A4 car without the bose package this was the setup. The wires are for audio, power for the amp, radio turnon signal, etc. Some of the newer audi's I believe still use this type of a setup but I do not know exactly which ones.

It will say BRAKE on USA cars depending on the year. Or, it will flash an icon of a brake drum.

If you open the bonnet and look just below where the drivers side wiper bolts on theres a black plastic box with an umberalla embossed on it, its in there.
