How do i replace a fog light on an Audi a6?
The small grill around the fog light pulls out. Start with the drivers side, there is a small clip inside the grill on the left side. Use a small flat head screw driver to pry it towards the fog light (doesn't take much pressure). Then pull the grill out. This will expose two Phillips head screws above the fog light housing. Remove these and take the whole assembly out. Passenger side is similar.

Remove the old filter, clean the mounting surface with a clean rag, and install a new one. Apply a coat of oil to the gasket before installation of new filter. Tighten it 3/4 turn after making contact with the mounting surface. No more or no less. Do this and it will not leak.
