How can I find out if the timing belt has been changed on a used Audi Allroad with over 100000 miles on it?

You can call an Audi dealership and they can look it up IF it was done at a dealership. Otherwise you can pull the inspection cover and check the belt condition or look for signs of the water pump being newer....but there's no definitive way to know unfortunately without a receipt or record from Audi.

How do you remove a headlight on a Audi A2?

remove bonnet by releasing service flap, undo two large thumb knobs, pull towards the front and lift entire bonnet, it is very light. Then locate two torx screws from light housing, one on top, the other on the side between the housing and where the service flap would be if bonnet is still attached. You may need a long reaching screw driver for the side screw. The headlight unit can then be gently pulled away from car. There is a metal retainer that secures the back cover to access the inside of the headlight housing.

Install is the reverse of the above, watch out outer side of the light assembly. There are two guide 'legs' where they slot into the mounting bracket inside the wheel arch.

Dipped headlights and fog headlights the same thing?

Where is the thermostat on a 2001 Audi allroad?

Being a 2001 Allroad, I'm assuming you have the 2.7TT engine. If so, the thermostat is located on the front of the engine block behind a black plastic plate. just left of the water-pump. Unfortunately, it is a very difficult part to get to, and it takes some special tools in order to replace it properly. If you've never replaced your water-pump and you're past 75,000 miles, your car is essentially a ticking time-bomb. You should look into getting it replaced along with the timing belt and thermostat.

Can you put a Audi a2 through a car wash?

I would think any car could go through a car wash although I wouldn't run a convertible through one or one that leaks around the windows.

Just checked your Audi a4 and the electric windows were open half way no sign of break in can they open on their own garage says no HELP?

If one presses and holds the 'unlock' plipper the windows will wind down. I have had this occur a couple of times when I have been working on my other car - the Audi keys were in my trouser pocket and the button must somehow have been pressed and held as I bent over.

Will an Audi concert 2 replace an Audi concert 1?

While the radio will physically fit, and plug in the actual wiring is different. The Concert II CD uses the cars CAN bus to control things like the driver information display, on/off with key function, gala speed sensitive volume, and night time illumination of the radio face plate. Your car may be equipped with a CAN bus but there are no wires from your cars CAN bus running to the Concert I radio. In order to get the radio to work correctly you will need to run the wires your self or purchase a CAN simulator from Germany online. All other functions of the radios are the same and will work with no modification.

Not without updating the wiring to include the CAN bus wires to the radio.
