What are signs you have done well at an audition?
So I auditioned for "Annie Jr." (school musical) and I thought I did fairly well. Everyone got a callback. Half the people, including me, were put in groups of 6 and sang 2 songs that the orphans sing together, with a few solos. I noticed that the other half sang AND did lines. I'm worried that I'll just be ensemble again. Did I do good? And I wrote this question by the way. Just needed to say some detail.
I suggest auditioning at school plays or shows at community theatres to start so you can get experience. At auditions for plays you have to say a monologue (the audition information should say how long it should be). when you enter to audition there is usually a tape mark on the ground for you to stand on. There say "Hi my name is say your name and i will be saying a monologue from say where your monologue is from." then if you want to move onto camera you can simply look up information for shows that you want to audition for or you could get an agent.
You should to get yourself into a couple of auditions, just for the experience. Even if you don't get a role, they're still very worthwhile, since they'll give you a good idea of what to expect, and if you can watch the other applicants, you'll get a better understanding of what the judges are looking for. If you're in the UK, you can get tailored SMS notifications of upcoming auditions and open castings in your area.
You have to be in an agency to be in movies.
Go to www.talenthunter.com, there are a list of auditions there!! Good luck!
umm, just to say- you actually don't have to be in an agency/have an agent to get a role in a film. yes, it may help, but it's not compulsory. Emma Watson (Hermione in Harry Potter) for example; she didn't have any experience and she just went along. hope you do well, and remember- just GO FOR IT!

How much does it cost to go to stage school for a whole term?
That depends on what you mean by "Stage School," the individual school, and how long the term is. Stage schools to some are dancing classes for children. One website has a range from $25/month for 30 minutes a week to $150/month for unlimited classes.
Other Stage Schools include acting and/or singing classes for children, and one website based in the UK offers one hour beginning sessions for £7.
Other Stage schools offer acting classes for adults. One website based in the UK offers one hour lessons for adults for £25.
It looks like adult prices are typically much higher than for children, and adult lessons are often offered solo rather than in groups.
To translate these prices to a term, you would have to determine how many months (or hours) you would be taking classes during the term... but the best way to find out would be to call the individual school where you are thinking about attending.
If you use your car in your job or business and you use it only for that purpose, you may deduct its entire cost of operation (subject to limits discussed later). However, if you use the car for both business and personal purposes, you may deduct only the cost of its business use.
You can generally figure the amount of your deductible car expense using one of two methods: the standard mileage rate method or the actual expense method. If you qualify to use both methods, before choosing a method, you may want to figure your deduction both ways to see which gives you a larger deduction. Please refer to Publication 463, Travel, Entertainment, Gift and Car Expenses, for the current standard mileage rate. If you use the standard mileage rate, you can add to your deduction any parking fees and tolls incurred for business purposes.
To use the standard mileage rate, you must own or lease the car; the car must not be used to transport persons or property for compensation or hire, for example as a taxi; you must not operate five or more cars at the same time, as in a fleet operation; you must not have claimed a depreciation deduction using the Modified Accelerated Cost Recovery System (MACRS) on the car in an earlier year (including any additional first-year depreciation or "bonus depreciation" or any method other than straight-line for its estimated useful life; you must not have claimed a Section 179 deduction or the special depreciation allowance on the car; and you must not have claimed actual expenses after 1997 for a car you leased. You cannot use the standard mileage rate if you are a rural mail carrier who received a "qualified reimbursement".
Further, to use the standard mileage rate for a car you own, you must choose to use it in the first year the car is available for use in your business. Then, in later years, you can choose to use the standard mileage rate or actual expenses.
However, for a car you lease, you must use the standard mileage rate method for the entire lease period (including renewals).
To use the actual expense method, you must determine what it actually costs to operate the car for the portion of the overall use of the car that is business use. Include gas, oil, repairs, tires, insurance, registration fees, licenses, and depreciation (or lease payments) attributable to the portion of the total miles driven that are business miles.

How do you get your rugby talent noticed?
Start playing for your local club. Additional answerConsider joining an additional club. Make sure you play for a 1st Division team. This may mean leaving your current club, but will no doubt improve your chances of having your talent noticed.
Make your intentions known to your coach, here in Ireland the way it works is your coach recommends you for try-outs for a provincial team, so make sure s/he knows you want to play at a higher level. Continue to learn. Attending summer camps etc. run by your local professional team (there may not be one, you may have to travel) is a good idea.
