1. Avatar is so popular because 's not just a sci-fi movie, it's an epic and the aliens have a mystical "Lord of the Rings" feel to them, which is in vogue right now - world-wide.

2. Sci-fi movies appeal mostly to men - older ones at that. When you add mysticism/magic (Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter), vampires/romance (Twillight) or appeal to a youngsters (Harry Potter, Twilight, Star Wars), you widen the audience quite a bit, especially to women.

3. Alien, Terminator, Titanic were great preparation for James Cameron to create Avatar.

no. i don't know where that got started in the first place but its not. just because the main characters are white does not mean its racist and about the rumor that director put all of the black try outs in a folder labeled "other" is not true either. if you guys think that the movie is racist take a look at the show there's not one black person in there. all you people who think the movie is racist obviously have no idea what racism is.

there are these big huge giant creatures that live along the race of "avatar". it will be the race of "avatar" and the humans and their mech suits and stuff v.s. the giant creatures. the "avatar" nation fight along with the humans. sorry there so much wrighting =).

Sakura is older then Sasuke but not Naruto.

Sakura's birthday is March 28th.

Naruto's birthday is October 10th.

Sasuke's birthday is July 23rd.

The Acadamy starts in September so Naruto was the first to turn 12 because October is after September, then Sakura's in March, then Sasuke's. It is sorta weird thinking Sasuke is the youngest and is probably one of the youngest that was in the Acadamy and is the yongest in Taka because he is the leader/acts so cool.

Even though Naruto failed 3 times before, he is the same age group because it is like school years now, aka, he has grades like grade 1, grade 2 etc, my bet is there grades like that and the overral the grades last for around a year and a half.

(Naruto is training with Killer Bee) it shows how Itatchi is hiding in a closet with his baby brother Sasuke trying to figure out where his parents went it shows how Sakura and everyone else is hiding underground while the Fox is destroying Konoha so Sakura is older than everybody ( dang, hard to believe)

Think of bending like you would think of a martial art (as that what Bending is based off of). Sokka was never really interested in bending from the start so he never really learned the moves needed to bend an element. He instead chose to be a swordsman. Azula was considered a prodigy with Firebending, and she trained and trained to make her father proud of her, and sort of pity Zuko. Her fire is blue possibly because the show creators wanted her to seem more powerful.

I believe it's because her firebending is hotter and more powerful than other firebenders' (if you see her firebending in the deserted town in "The Chase", you'll see that once her fire hits a building, it turns orange because it isn't as hot anymore, compared to when she is bending it). Yes. In fact, in 2006 he said if the movie is successful he'll make 2 more movies. After the films recent success, James Cameron has confirmed that there will be a sequel, most likely continuing from the end of the first film and following Jake Sully and Neytiri. Sam Worthington has already signed on to play Jake Sully in a sequel. No development plans nor a title have been announced yet.

It's really all about skill. This is what I did:

I found out that Ty Lee stops and gives you a minute to run over a nd attack her (mainly happens when you move away from her) while Azula come down and fires lightning at you, so be careful. In the end, you'll just have to keep on attacking her until you beat her. I recommend to play with a friend. Double the people, double the attack.

i think the last airbender will have a second movie because the ending had me guessing what will happen next. the ending was like it had to have another movie.

The previous person clearly has no idea the movie was based on a television show, which was MUCH better than that failure of a movie. M. Night Shyamalan says he's written a sequel, but he's had it written since before the first movie came out and it's looking like it's never going to be made. As of November of 2011, there's no news on whether it will ever be made. Shyamalan is currently working on a movie called After Earth, so unless he has time to work on two movies at the same time, it's certainly not going to come out in the near future.

Shyamalan's logic on that point is fundamentally flawed. The Airbenders were clearly styled after buddhist monks. Buddhist monks are Asian. Sokka's fencing instructer told him "Li" would be a good alias in the Fire Kingdom, because "there are a ton of those runnung around." Li is a largely Chinese name, and last I checked, makes the Fire Nation also Asian. The only Non-Asians are the Water Bender Tribes, and Inuit/Eskimo is pretty much the in between for Asians and the other Native Americans, at least the North American tribes. It's a little late to worry about getting the races right.
