Once you get the hang of it, no. I wouldn't say its hard, but it does feel a little strange for a while. Your instep will ache a bit and your toes may become a little sore. But with a trained teacher, who slowly works you up the ladder, its easy peasy! Remember, start off with simple, easy strenghtening excersises to strenghten the foot, for example, rises at the bar. If you go straight in at the deep end (e.g. pirouettes in the centre) you could seriously damage yourself for life and may never be able to dance on pointe again!!!
she is correct, but also you have to break in the shoes so they feel best.

If you have hypermobility can you still do pointe?
Yes, depending on your case. Pointe work is hardest on the feet and ankles, though it really involves strength of your whole body; balance, torso, back strength, etc.
If you are hypermobile in your arms this won't affect pointe at all. If your knees are hypermobile this may make things more difficult but you should be able to work with your instructor and find a way to strengthen the correct muscles and work around it. Always be cautious and make sure it's not painful and you're not hurting yourself.
I myself have hyermobility and it is slightly more difficult to pull up out of the shoe but it shouldnt be a real problem if you look at ballerinas then you will most likely see hypermobility(not saying all dancers have it) it really is ablessingto create nice lines as long as your not pulling back/rocking into your knees.Happy Dancing:)
How does one install new ballet bars?
Installing ballet bars requires precise measurement and marking of the placement of the bar. The bar is placed into mounted wall brackets. It is extremely important that the wall brackets are mounted so the bar sits level when mounted. It is also important to ensure that the dancer has enough room for free movement of arms and legs.

Not necessarily, boys usually do higher jumps and more beats, but girls usually have more feminine technique. So they're about the same depending on the style.

What are the lyrics to the dance of the sugar plums in the nutcracker suite?
See the candy fairies, sugar-plums, jelly-beans, chocolate bars,
Dance the minuet,
With the candied cherries, lolly-pops, peppermints, candy-canes,
As they pirouette,
See the FAIRY PRINCESS curtsying, gracefully, beautifully,
Swaying to the tune...
Music in the air (so entrancing)
Flowers in her hair (as she's dancing)
Love is everywhere (Ah-h-h-h-h-h-h-h)
'Neath the yellow lemon-drop moon.
(SUGAR-PLUM FAIRY DANCES)
There she goes now, on her toes now,
To her yellow lemon-drop moon.
