Cork Ball, as it was played in the southend of Columbus, Oh. after WWll consisted of simply a fishing cork and a cutoff broomstick handle. The cork was normally wrapped in in any electrical tape we could scrounge from our parents. Our game consisted of 3 strikes and you were out of the inning. We used street curbs on each side of the street plus and other areas between the sidewalks on each side to mark our singels, doubles, etc. The uniqueness of our game the way the cork was pitched.It was gripped between the thumb and the index and middle fingers and released underhanded. Depending on the angle of release, the cork would dive, drop, curve(dramatically) or rise in and out. The batter never knew what was coming. The cork ball pitcher's motion was similar to a fastpitch softball pitcher. In the seventies and eighties I taught my sons the game. Now the grandsons are learning. One thing about this game; You need good eyes! Old timers like me need not apply.

It is basically an original aluminim/metal bat that has no composite pieces in it or half composite pieces. Now for little leauge, babe ruth, and highschool BBcor bats must be used, although in AAU which is more competitve and considered travel baseball you can use composite bats

If you want to oil a new glove you should go to a sporting goods store and buy some glove oil or conditioner then you apply it the way it instructs then you can shape the glove after you do this it will help clean and restore the glove to feel like new but still broken in.

b1 is way better more pop and way more durable but i would get a Anderson or is you want a cheaper bat that is better than the combat get a stealth speed nike aero fuse or Sv12 the combat b1 is pretty good but Anderson techzilla is by far the best bat on the market.the combat b2 isn't that good doesnt have that much pop as other bats. but if u want the combat get b1 the best little leagure bats are 1.Anderson techzilla 2. First, oil or spray your glove down good. Then, place in the oven at 325 to 350 for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on stiffness of leather. Pull it out of the oven and rub off excess oil. As soon as you feel you can place your hand inside the heated glove do so. (I recommend a batting glove of some sorts for this part.) Once your hand is in work it a couple of times then place a baseball or softball in the pocket and close the glove as if you were making a catch and tie the the glove in this position. Then, let the glove sit for 4 or 5 hours. Untie the glove and work it for 30 minutes. Repeat as necessary.

However, you also must consider that it is harder to swing a heavier bat and therefore it will travel slower and therefore have less momentum.

I would say he/she should use the size they are most comfortable with. If I were you I would make sure that the bat they chose is not to heavy for them and not to bulky. It really depends on how big you're six year old is.
