I am no sure but it think it will because I tried to connect both positive and negative using copper and luckily I took the battery off it was hot in just a few seconds so just dont even try to do it.

No, it doesnt. Hibernation is the "turned off" state, but with the current tasks saved to the hard disk so they can be resumed. I have personally proven this by taking out the battery, completely rebuilding the laptop (for cleaning purposes) and rebuilding it all (took 2 days).
