Why are alkalis used in batteries?

If you are using AA batteries in a digital camera, you will save a ton of money by buying rechargeable Nickle Metal Hydride (NI-Mh) batteries. You can charge them over and over again. If you do not want to use rechargeable batteries, Lithium AA batteries are the longest lasting. You can use regular alkaline batteries if you need to, but you won't get many photos if you use your flash!
Batteries die fast in a digital camera because when you turn the camera on, the flash circuit charges up the high voltage flash capacitor. How do you remove battery acid stains from concrete?
The orange you see is called acid "burn" and any concrete "rust" removers you find on the market will not be effective at removing acid burn. Some rust removers are good for rust but may damage concrete, create white spots on the areas they were applied or spread the acid burn making it even worse.
This product is called F9 BARC and will work for your stain the best of anything on the market.
