How long does a kirkland battery last?

No set answer to that, it depends on the capacity/size of the battery and the power consumption of whatever they're connected to.

What is c mos battery?

It's the battery on a Motherboard/Similar COmputer Component that allows it to retain BIOS information

How long does a 6 cell battery last in a laptop?

6-cell laptop battery, I think almost 3-4 hours. My replacement ACER BATCL50L battery can last 3-4 hours if it is fully charged. 14.8V, 4400mAh, Li-ion, 6-cell laptop battery.

It really depends on the specification of your laptop.

6 cell for a net book is a huge capacity.

But for desktop alternative ones, that will be even not enough for one hour.

Try to compare at the link I provided below, you'll probably find what you need.

How are batteries rated?

Main characteristics are voltage and capacity, but there are others.

What type of electricity a battery produce?

A battery stores energy in the chemical form. When you're ready to

use the energy, the battery delivers it to you in the electrical form.

How can batteries affect human health?

They don't effect health unless they are disposed of in a wrong way.

What energy is like a battery?

Potential energy because it is waiting to be used

Can a Nikon l810 use rechargeable batteries?

Yes. Nikon recommend their own EN-MH2 Ni-MH rechargeables.

How long will a AA battery last if not used?

According to Energizer, they claim that their rechargeable AA batteries will hold their charge for up to 1 year. How long a battery lasts is also dependant on how much it is used.

Which battery lasts the longest duracell energizer or rayovac?

How long a battery lasts actually depends on what type of appliance it is used with. In flashlights, Energizer often lasts the longest in tests. Duracell is good for many things, although personal booklights seem to drain Duracell very quickly. It works well for lanterns and the like though. EverReady is generally a little below Duracell and Energizer. Rayovac is another brand that might be tried.

How do you fix an overcharged battery?

That largely depends on what kind of battery you are talking about. However, most rechargeable batteries will likely be ruined by overcharging. If you are referring to a car battery, it cannot be repaired, except to be rebuilt.

Simply put, when a battery is overcharged, the plates inside the battery lose oxides. That, and overheating, also causes the electrolyte solution to lose water/moisture. This permanently reduces capacity and leaves portions of the plates exposed to further oxidation. Then, it's all downhill from there! Spiral cell and/or gel filled batteries (such as Optima) are affected somewhat differently, but the effects of overcharging are even worse for them.

If your battery has been overcharged, or you suspect any problems, have it tested. Most auto parts suppliers (AutoZone, for example) will test your battery for free. While the tester cannot show the internal condition of the battery, it does effectively reveal its overall condition by testing voltage, amperage, discharge rate, and recovery time. These factors together tell whether or not the battery needs to be charged, or simply cannot take/hold a charge anymore.

**Disclaimer**: This is the general rule of thumb. There are battery re-conditioners on the market that can, in rare cases, help save a battery if the damage is caught early and minimized. However, the cost of these devices usually offsets the slim chances that it might work. Also, they're usually more expensive than simply replacing the damaged "might-be-okay" battery with a brand-new one.

How does a lemon battery work?

1. the lemon transforms into a galvanised chicken that farts and creates electricity from the friction of the super fast fart, because the chicken continuously farts it creates an electric current and therefore it is a battery

Why is a battery has a chemical reaction?

chemical reaction produce electricity in the battery because the chemical contains negative charges and the bar or rod that goes through the battery contains positive charges so when they mix together they make electricity. when the charges are weak they stop making electricity or they don't make any contact with each other any more so they don't produce electricity anymore and people say that the battery dies out.

If a laptop is not used for awhile does the battery need to be replaced?

From what I know, you manage the laptop battery like a cell phone battery, which means you have to drain it every once in a while, and then fully charge it again. If you leave it off for a long time, it will probably lose some of its poiwer but it can still be used

What does a battery clip do?

it operates a battery,mostly a 9 volt battery

What if you consume battery acid?

First, remember the general rule: nothing is completelysafe; if you can't figure out a way to use any given material to kill a human, you're not thinking hard enough. "Drop enough of it on his head" usually works if nothing else does. Dry cells use a pasty electrolyte that most people call "battery acid" despite it not being all that acidic. If that's what you're talking about, how toxic it is depends on exactly what it is; it might be mainly NH4Cl (weakly acidic), or ZnCl2 (weakly acidic), or KOH (strongly alkaline), or any of a number of other substances. It may or may not include mercury; alkaline cells in particular are likely to contain at least a small amount of mercury. It's almost certainly not a good idea to eat any, and it's best to avoid touching it as well, but it's probably not going to cause much more than a rash or mild chemical burn if you get some on your hand as long as you quickly and thoroughly wash it off. Battery acid in a lead-acid storage cell (such as a car battery) is a different story. This really is acidic and is somewhat more dangerous stuff; it's sulfuric acid with some dissolved lead sulfate. Neither of these is particularly good for you; if you get any on yourself you're likely to get some fairly serious chemical burns, and if taken internally there will be the same burns plus the lead toxicity.

What is chemical energy in a battery transformed into?

The electrical energy is changed into other kinds of energy in the load connected to the battery.

The energy can be mechanical (rotation or movement against friction, inertia, and gravity).

The energy can be radiation (heat, magnetism, light, radio waves, etc.)

Heat is usually not desired.

In every load, some of the energy is inefficiently converted to heat because of the imperfections of the loads we have built to do work for us, all of which must follow the laws of the physical universe.

Are energizer rechargeable batteries worth it.?

Well you probably don't want to spend more money than necessary, most consumers believe rechargeable battery packs are worth the cost. According to reviews on Amazon.com, over 95% of buyers rated the packs very favorably.

How long do batteries last on a Sony camcorder?

Depends on how you take care of it and what type of battery it is. Nicad's are probably good for an average of two to three years and the Li-ion batteries, probably a bit longer. Also, you have to factor in use and storage conditions.
