What are the symptoms of bed bugs?
Bed bug bites do not commonly cause serious reactions in humans. But, they are annoying enough to cause stresses in our lives as well. Some people that have experienced bed bugs in their home have problems with sleeping in their beds. They may feel anxiety and worry about the bed bugs, even knowing that they are not going to cause a great deal of damage to them. This fear can lead to insomnia as well. At an extreme level, bed bugs can cause things like distress and alarm. At some times, it can also cause delusional parasitosis as well. Here, a person becomes delusional, thinking that they see and feel the bed bugs on their skin. The amount of blood that you will lose because of the bed bug is a very small amount and will likely not affect the host at all. They probably will not notice any feelings caused by this problem. Also, bed bugs are not known to cause any type of disease. They are not known to carry and transmit diseases either. This is unlike that of a mosquito that can transmit a disease to its host. They have been known to carry what is called pathogens for the plague and for hepatitis B, but this is just from the immunities that they have built up from these diseases over the course of time. The bed bug bite that does cause a serve reaction or one that leaves a welt on the skin can become infected if the individual scratches at the area and by doing this, supplies the necessary bacteria to cause the infection in the skin of the host
Do bed bugs crouch when flashed by camera light?
Yes, when trying to differentiate a bed bug from a tick, I took a picture of the bed bug. When the light flashed, the bed bug crouched down. I thought it was my imagination, so I continued to flash the camera light and every time it crouched down in defense. Then, I smashed it with a plastic spoon and it died. You have to burn ticks
When you scratch bed bug bites does it spread?
Hey - bed bug bites tend to be on upperbody and flies lower body
Yes bed bugs can be eliminated speaking from my experience. I've had bed bug infestation before on my mattress. Bed bugs do bite and they will leave a flat large red mark on your skin. Bed bugs are nocturnal so they will come out at night when you are sleeping and during the day they will hide in cracks and crevices of your room or in your mattress. They can come into your home by cracks and crevices from apartments or from the outside, they can be brought in by your luggage if you went on a vacation. You will need to treat bed bugs multiple of times because they all wont be killed at once, believe me, I know.
You can look for bed bugs in the crevices of your mattress and on the lining underneath your mattress. They will also be in your sheets, pillow cases, and fabrics. Bed bugs can also be found in your box springs and on the joining parts of your bed frame and head board.
After I treated my mattress and box springs, I used Allerzip Protect-A-Bed mattress encasement, Protect-A-Bed box spring cover and Protect-A-Bed pillow case to prevent future bed bug infestation. These encasement, box cover, and pillow case prevents moisture from building up and traps the bed bugs causing them to die from lack of food and hiding place.
I treated for bed bugs 3-4 times in 2 weeks. I repeated the process again. I used this spray called Steri-Fab and sprayed it on my mattress, on box springs. I vacuumed my mattress and box spring after I allowed it to dry. I also used dust, which is a pesticide dust into the cracks and crevices of my home which will prevent them from coming into my home.

Can bed bugs hold their breath?
Yes,Respiration(in this case breathing) happens in allliving Organsims.
As do all insects, they breathe through spiracles- a row of small holes on both sides of their abdomen. They do not have lungs like us. Instead, they have accordion-like "book lungs" which sucks air in and out . You can see it in action if you catch a large insect like a grasshopper or cockroach. You will see the abdomen moving in and out very rapidly. That's the insect breathing. The flea does the same thing, but it's so tiny that you couldn't see it. Kinda cool, eh?
How do you kill bedbugs with natural remedies?
Wakening one morning to find arms and legs and other parts of your body covered in itchy red welts is distressing but then finding that they have been caused by bed bugs can be devastating, making you feel unclean. However, the fact of the matter is that bed bug infestations have risen dramatically since 2007.
The main concern is that if you find you have a problem how do you get rid of bed bugs? You could call in a professional company and leave everything to them but that is very expensive or you could use insecticides or other chemicals in an attempt to deal with the bed bugs by yourself. Whichever you decide on the faster you act the less likely the infestation is to get out of control.
The first step you need to take is to remove bed linen, clothing, soft furnishings, shoes etc. which may be infected - remember bed bugs will hide out in the most obscure places in the day time, only coming out to feed at night. Place all of these items in plastic bags and seal them whilst in the infested room to prevent the transfer of bugs to other areas in the house.
Wash bed linen and other washable items on a hot setting in the washing machine. There may be items which cannot be washed, these can be either put in a hot tumble dryer for about 10 minutes or placed in the sun whilst in the plastic bags - for a couple of days or until the bugs are dead. Bed bugs cannot withstand cold either so if it is cold you could still put these items outside.
Always clean down any work surfaces with which these items have come into contact. Be sure to use disinfectant.
Once everything is washed and dried or decontaminated place them into clean plastic bags and reseal them for protection.
The biggest task of all is completely clearing and cleaning the room from top to bottom. Firstly get rid of any clutter such as news papers, magazine etc. Bag them, seal the bags tightly and dispose of them.
Your first weapon in the battle to get rid of bed bugs is the vacuum cleaner. This is fantastic at lifting bugs, eggs and larvae from carpets, curtains, mattresses and the box spring. Its many attachments allow it to get into cracks and crevices where the bed bugs are likely to hide out in the day time. NB Remove the bag from the vacuum immediately, place it in a sealed bag and dispose of it.
The second weapon you should consider using is a steam cleaner - you can hire these easily or there is a large range available from Amazon - this will get rid of bed bugs missed by the vacuum as they cannot with stand high temperatures.
Finally the whole area must be treated with some kind of solution to ensure that there are no living bugs, eggs etch left.
Insecticide sprays are widely available, the problem is that whilst some are effective the bed bugs have built up resistance to others. The biggest concern however is the safety of these chemicals. They pose danger to the health of humans and animals alike and should ideally only be used by professionals - which as I mentioned before comes at a high price!
There are quite a few non toxic sprays available to buy either on-line or at your local store. These are completely safe to use in houses where there are children and pets. Again, the problem is that the effectiveness of these can vary.
One which I have used personally and which is 100% natural and EPA approved is a product called Bed Bug Bully. It worked quickly and was very effective and I even got a free sample! Find out more at Treatment For Bed Bugs.Com

Don't sneak out.
Why?
Because you might be safe, but if a freak accident happened, or something bad happened, your parents wont know where you're at or how to make sure you're safe.
So if something bad happened, there's nothing to protect you.
But if you're going to do it anyway, make sure you have a cell phone on you at all times and make sure you know where to go and what to do if some dangerous happened.
What is wrong with a clothes dryer if it does not run?
Can you give more info about the problem? Is this a gas or electric dryer?
First of all it's a good idea to disconnect the power at the outlet, then remove the air exhaust hose and check it for blockages.
If the hose is not blocked, check if there is power at the outlet. If no indicator light shows there is power coming to the appliance, has the circuit breaker tripped in the main electricity service panel?
If the breaker is tripped (or a fuse has blown) it may be a fluke or it may indicate a larger problem. Turn the breaker back on (and/or replace the fuse with one exactly the same size and amperage rating) and see what happens.
If it's notpower to the outlet, you may need to crack that sucker open. (Remember to unplug it first) The easiest and most important thing to do after taking the cover off is to clean it. Chances are it is going to be full of lint. Get all the lint, dirt, and grime out of it.
Next do some simple tests:
If you didn't find anything from the above steps, you will need to start tracing wires with a meter. The procedure for that is model dependent and beyond the scope of this FAQ. Best of luck.

As always, if you are in doubt about what to do, the best advice anyone should give you is to call a licensed electrician to advise what work is needed.
Before you do any work yourself,
on electrical circuits, equipment or appliances,
always use a test meter to ensure the circuit is, in fact, de-energized.

You should have a bed. I've never seen just a sofa in a bedroom. Maybe a bed and a loveseat sleeper sofa or chair sleeper. That way if you or your family have overnight guest they have a place to sleep. I'm not sure how old you are, but every child should have a bed in their room.
