The honey bees that we have in the UK would, in the absence of the hives humans provide, make their nests in hollow trees or buildings. In fact anywhere that they might hang some comb from would suit the bees.
Other bees burrow down into the ground, under rocks, in piles of grass or leaves - all sorts of places.
How do you kill underground bees?
By spraying a pesticide which you can buy at Lowe's Hardware or Home Depot. Bees are very important for pollination and I saw a program that the U.S. and Canada are experiencing a severe drop in bees and Beekeepers are finding dead bees in their hives. This is more serious than society can ever imagine. Phone a Beekeeper and have them take the problem away.
A bee's colour vision extends well into the ultra-violet part of the spectrum, but not so far as ours into the red end of the spectrum.
Bees can also distinguish plane polarized light, which we can't.
Um.Dumb question but if u need 2 know honey bees aren't as visious as killer bees .therefore killer bees attack more.while, honey bees are humble and do what they do best make honey from flowers nectar
Are carpenter bees and bumble bees the same?

Do bees return to the same nest?
A foraging bee will always return to its home hive. Any bee trying to enter the wrong hive will be challenged by the guard bees at the entrance and will generally be repelled, though a single bee who exhibits submissive behaviour to the guard bees may be accepted.
This behaviour by the guard bees is to prevent the hive's food stocks being robbed by other colonies.
How does a beekeeper get the swarm to go inside the hives?
Bees like to be in a dark place so there are two methods of getting a swarm into a hive. The fastest way is to shake the bees out of the container that they are in, straight onto the top of the frames that are inside the hive and replace the roof of the hive thereby leaving them in the dark and giving them the chance to settle down. If you have time available, it is much more interesting to watch them walk into the hive by themselves. Every hive has a small entrance for the bees near the bottom of the hive. You place a ramp from the ground to the entrance of the hive and shake the bees out of the container that they are in, onto the ramp. When the bees find the hive entrance and realise that it is dark inside, they will start to walk into the hive but as it is a small entrance and there are lots of bees, it will probably take about an hour for them all to get in.
What causes your indoor plant to yellow?
They turn white because there is no sunlight, the chloroplast gives the plants their color but without sunlight the chloroplast slowly in a way kinda fade & let other colors such as white show instead of the usually green.
How long does a queen bee live?
From 1 to 5 years, which is considerable longer than the worker bees who only live for about a month, and then there's the poor drones who's only job is to mate, an act which leads to their immediate death!
Some bees chew wood. The best example is the carpenter bee. They will chew tunnels into wood and make their nest.
Paper Wasps are relatives of the bees. They chew wood into a paste and spread it into thin sheets that dry to form the walls of their nests.
Bees make honey from nectar gathered from flowers. If there are no nectar-bearing flowers available, then the bees can't make honey. Nor will there be any nectar to feed on, so they will feed on their stored honey.
Bees can sting people and animals, but only if they are provoked or disturbed. If they are left alone bees are generally harmless.
Bees (unless they are the aggressive Africanized bee) will only sting in self defence. In fact, they die if they sting, because their sting has a barb that remains in the person stung. The bee is damaged and dies.
They are very important for their role in pollinating vegetable and fruit crops.
Bees or hornets bright orange in color?
There are many varieties of bees...
I suspect what you are seeing is something much like a bee, (order Hymenoptera), but somehow didn't match up to your eye's common pattern matching of a bee. This may be the case if you are looking at a bee mimic insect such as a Bumblebee Robber Fly, (Laphria flavicollis). If so this is a remarkable and beneficial creature to orchardists! They are hunter-killers of damaging insects in fruit orchards and gardens. They are one of a very few species that have been known to devastate large numbers of Japanese beetles. This among the robber flies is one worth breeding in captivity and releasing. Note and warning. This fly is not specific about its prey and can also wipe out large numbers of honey bees so we must be observant of local aviaries and be a responsible steward of these beneficial insects.
There are hundreds of other varieties of bees native to North America. They come in various sizes and colors.
You could also be looking at a mason bee which is black and is a very efficient
pollinator, hard worker and will fly in weather that a honey bee won't.
Mostly birds, but depending on where you are in the world, there are also wasps, hornets, bears and badgers.
How do you exterminate a bee in your house?

Do pet smart have adoption centers?
no, but they do have cats, birds, and reptiles. But your pet smart could. I know most don't though
As a rule no. They do visit blackberry flowers and collect pollen and nectar, and in doing so they pollinate the flowers. If they did not do this, you would not get many blackberries, and those you did get would be uneven and small.
If a bee happens to find a damaged ripe blackberry it might lick up some of the juice, but that is about as much as you might expect. Pollen and nectar is what they are after.
While bumblebees are a beneficial insect, they sometimes cause problems if there are many of them. One easy repellent is to spray them with soapy water. This will drive them away without killing them.
