Flumazenil (brand name Romazicon US, Anexate CA) is a benzodiazepine receptor antagonist that can be administered in the event of benzodiazepine overdose to stop or reverse their sedative effects.

If you are getting a urine test, it could be there as long as 21 days. This depends on the type of test they do. The least i have seen Valium show up in a 6 panel tip cup test was 7 days after a single dose of 5 mg. Valium (Diazapam) does not come in 2 mg doses.

The affects only last a couple of hours but a drug test could detect it up to 48 hours later.

The answer above is not 100% accurate. I am not 100% either but I do know someone that took 4 mg of Valium one time and it stayed in his system for 2 weeks. It is not xanax, but it is the same class of drug, benzodyazipin.I have known many people that have had xanax stay in their system for up to 2-4 weeks, but they took it more than once. But taking it one time, it could be in your system anywhere from 1-2 weeks. If you are expecting a drug test, I would not take one within 2 weeks.

First off, what were you trying to do?? It only takes like 2mg to get high. 4 mgs is a lot of fcking xanax. The comedown from 4mg could be up to 48 hours so what the first answer said about a couple hours is completely wrong. Bc I've taken 4 mgs before and was high for 2 days. If this is the first time you've ever done xanax it should be out of your system in about 3 days or so. But if you do it all the time it could take 6 weeks maybe a bit more to clear out.

I know people that take alot more xanax than that, and yes, they are retarded but they develop a tolerance and do not stay retarded for days, but they are retarded for the fact they take so many. I have known people to go into seizures when they go into benzo-withdrawal. Xanax could stay in your system for 2-4 weeks if taken on a regular basis. I know someone who took a couple Valium one time to ease his opiate wi thdrawal, and 2 weeks later a methadone clinic would not let him in because they said he had benzo's in his system, so I know just taking it one time it can stay in your system for up to 2 weeks, from personal experience.

Your family doctor is not adequately trained in mental health skills. ***I have to respectfully disagree about the family doctor statement...If you know your physician well and for a number of years, they are most certainly in a position to diagnose a general depression and they are certainly qualfied to prescribe a medication to help (if needed). A general practicioner, internist, family doctor, etc is, in fact, adequately enough trained to prescribe you an anti-depressant. However, if your depression is severe, you will need treatment for the chemical imbalance of depression as well as therapeutic sessions with a person qualified to help you work through your personal issues successfully. You may do this with the help of your family doctor and a psychotherapist, for example OR you can go directly to a psychiatrist, as they can prescribe meds, if needed. Most physchologists can NOT...(you are looking for an M.D.) But, for mild depression that you cannot seem to shake on your own, but you don't really need therapy for, your family doc can provide you with a low dose anti-depressant or anti-anxiety medication to use until you are feeling back to normal. (we all go through rough times, but it doesn't mean we need a 'shrink') I had a family doctor that helped me tremendously in my late teens and I know many others who've had the same experience. If you doc isn't sure how to help you or you don't feel like you can get to the root of the problem with a pill, ask for a referral to see a therapist or psychiatrist***

it chills you out and eradicates anxiety. the beauty of it for me is the minimal yearning for more, such as experienced after a pint or two. chat to your doctor though coz this is just personal experience. i suffer from an overly analytical mind-state and irrational paranoia from blasting high grade skunk as a kid, and 4-6 5mg pills 5 times a week levels me out and allows me still function normally sexually and athletically. it's good to take a couple of days a week off without it any. also consult your doctor or research the health repercussions of long term use as i'm clueless on this subject. relax and enjoy responsibly and get some medical advice. hope this helps. Prozac will not make you test positive for Benzos in any way. They are a completely different class of drugs known as SSRI's or anti-depressants which are meant as a mood lifter or stabilizer. Benzos of the other hand such as Valium, Xanax, or Ativan which I take work on different chemicals entirely to calm a person with anxiety issues and the like. Prozac works on the chemical in the brain known as seratonin, both can be tested for in the blood but certainly should not be mistaken for the other.
