What is the maximum speed of Boeing?
Maximum speed of the Boeing 777 is as follows:
0.89 Mach / 590 mph / 950 km/h / 512 knots.
Can the Boeing 777 fly on one engine?
The Boeing 777 is a two engine jet airplane. If one engine fails and the other engine is still working, yes it can still fly with one engine.
How long can the Boeing 747 fly?
Fuel capacity: 3.70 million pounds.
The Boeing 747 can fly in the air up to 16 to 19 hours with fuel savings.
Why are wings sometimes on top of the fuselage?
The higher profile wing is optimized for different missions. Often it is better for shorter range turboprop aircraft (propellers). Many military jets and props use the high wing design to keep their engines clear of debris if they are landing on a rough airfield in a war zone.
How far can a Boeing 777 glide?
Not far. As a jet, power must be constant to maintain lift. All Boeing commercial jets are designed with a maximum 10-ft/s sink rate. That is, with total engine failure, the craft will fall ten feet per second (roughly 100 feet every ten seconds -- or if operating at 43,000 feet, it would take about 71 minutes to reach sea level.)
What is bigger Boeing 777 or airbus a340?
The A 340-600 is a bit heavier. The Boeing carries more passengers and flies further.
How much fuel does a Boeing 737-700 carry?
the maximum fuel capacity of a Boeing 737-700 is 6,875 U.S. gal or 26,020 liters
What is most dangerous seat on a Boeing 757?
it is difficult to say witch seat is the safest or the most dangerous on any aircraft, because every incident is different, however statistics have shown that the survival rate is higher the further you go to the back of the plane, also aisle seats improve survival rate slightly
What is bigger between airbus a332 and Boeing 737-900 jet?
The A330-200 is considerably bigger than the B737-900. The A332 can carry 290 passengers in typical configuration while the B739 can only fit 180.
What are the dimensions of a Boeing B-52 fuselage?
whenever a child drive any vehicle model like airplane he says Boeing Boeing
What is the safe landing weight for Boeing 777 300ER?
the safe landing weight of a plane is anything under the max landing weiht for a 777-300ER it is 251290kilos
What is cruising speed of Boeing 727?
The cruising speed of the Boeing 727-200 is 500 KTS (925 KM/H) at 40,00ft Service Ceiling.
What is the take-off speed for a Boeing 747-8?
This can vary depending on weather and weight, but can be between 180-210 knots
How much fuel does a Boeing 737 800 consume?
There is no "answer" to this question. The amount of fuel needed to keep an airplane flying depends on many, many things. The weight of the plane and everything on the plane is one factor. The more the plane weighs, the more thrust is needed from the engines to keep it flying, which means more fuel must be used to produce that extra thrust. Now consider, that a 737 can carry up to can carry 7,000 gallons of fuel (and it weighs something like 6 lbs. per gallon). That means the amount of fuel being burned changes (decreases) as the fuel is burned off (i.e. a plane will burn less fuel at the end of a flight than at the beginning). Aircraft need to burn more fuel they are climbing or turning to provide the thrust to make those maneuvers. At low altitudes, more fuel is needed or else the engines won't work correctly. At higher altitudes, the engines do not need nearly as much fuel. If there is a crosswind, the plane has to fight against the wind to stay on course and extra fuel thrust (which means more fuel) is needed. If the plane is flying during the day and the air conditioning system will have to be used and it consumes extra engine power which leads to extra fuel being used.
The following numbers are not exact but they give you an idea of how complicated this problem can be:
Plane #1: Uses 1,500 gallons of fuel for a 2 hour flight. (750 gallons per hour)
Plane #2: Uses 2,000 gallons of fuel for a 5 hour flight. (500 gallons per hour)
Plane #3: Uses 5,000 gallons of fuel for a 7 hour flight. (714 gallons per hour)
Here is another way to think about it:
Plane #1: Has 20% of its maximum fuel. It can travel 100 miles.
Plane #2: Has 40% of its maximum fuel. It can travel 350 miles.
Plane #3: Has 60% of its maximum fuel. It can travel 500 miles.
Plane #4: Has 80% of its maximum fuel. It can travel 600 miles.
Plane #5: Has 100% of its maximum fuel. It can travel 650 miles.
How much does a Boeing 767 200 weigh?
the operating empty weight of a Boeing 767-200 is 80130kilograms
