Some people just have cracky limbs. There's really nothing you can do to prevent it. Scientists aren't even entirely sure what CAUSES cracking in joints.

Scientists might not know what causes them . But I know if you take a good supplement of calcium like (citracal) with magnesium you don't creek as much. O-Mega-3 doesn't hurt either.

The bones will heal in the wrong position therefore the elbow might not be able to bend and move. If this happens, the way some doctors reset the arm is by re-breaking the elbow then setting the arm in the correct position in surgery.

Fractures are termed complete if the break is completely through the bone and described as incomplete or "greenstick" if the fracture occurs partly across a bone shaft

A shin splint is just basically minor pain in your shins while a stress facture is when the shin bone is actaully damaged and it will try to heal its self but as it does so it may cause "bumps" on your shin bone. Stess factures are much more painful as well.

You may be thinking of the Lisfranc Fracture, actually named by one of Napoleon's surgeons, Jacques Lisfranc de St. Martin.

The fracture usually happened when a cavalry man was unhorsed but caught his foot in the stirrup. It basically is caused when excessive pressure is placed down through the heel when the foot is arched, and thus the weight is on the ball or toes of the foot causing the cluster of small bones above the metatarsals to buckle and dislocate or fracture. This injury commonly happens today if one unwittingly steps into a hole with violence or in sports where one's heel is stepped on while the foot is cocked to spring forward, as in running.

Why take a risk when it comes to your health? As the word "stress" you are definetly abusing the normal wear and tear of your body. Slow down, take it easy, go and see an orthopedic doctor and listen well. Do what the MD says, after all it is your body and you know what? Later in life you will either do the right thing now or suffer later.

It depend but probably a month or so. The boot should be worn because it helps the foot heal.

4 year old girl, broken humerus 2" from shoulder ball. doctor, put a low sling on it a said it will heal itself. humerus bones overlap each other an 1". has not been set or casts. should i get a second opinions?

It shouldn't really hurt you, but any sores or pimples or bumps will disappear in a few days.

i have a broken pelvic how long is this healing process normally? i also have an broken L2 lumbar the pain is unbearable alot!
