Bottlenose dolphins start the gestation period with the copulation of a pair of dolphins. After the 12 months of the gestation period, a single calf is born, usually with the help of another dolphin which assumes the role of a midwife. Dolphin mothers give birth to the calf by releasing the tail of the baby first. This is done this way, to avoid that the new dolphin gets drown. The calf is nursed for up to 18 months with milk produced by the mother.After that, young dolphins stay with their mothers for around 6 years until they have developed all the skills for hunting and surviving.

The Boto dolphin, or Amazon River Dolphin, is also called the Boutu or Pink River Dolphin. It is a freshwater dolphin living in the Amazon and Orinoco River basins in South America. It is endangered, and eats mainly fish, but will also eat shrimp, turtles and some amphibians.

Alright, so because a Shark is an animal it's Kingdom- Anamalia. Because it has a basic skeletal structure (Cartalidge, not bone) it goes into phylum chordata. Although, instead of being placed into the class mammalia like an elephant would, it is placed into the class chondricthyes, which is one of three classes of fish (The other two being Ostychthyes [Bony Fish] and Agnatha [Jawless fish]) that contains sharks and rays. It belongs here instead of mammalia because it's a fish, it lays eggs, has no fur, does not produce milk, etc. Look up what makes a mammal and you can compare them.

Mink are generalist predators focusing on whatever prey is most available and easily captured. These animals are mainly active at night and do not hibernate.

No dolphin would be foolish enough to swim near a barracuda. Dolphins, though quick, are not near as fast and agile as the barracuda when it comes to a sub-marine battle. And also, the dolphin does not have sufficient teeth to tackle a large fish. The barracuda, on the other hand, has next to razor sharp teeth which could make quick work of almost any mammal.

I don't really know what you're trying to say. Are you asking What is important about the existence of bottle nosed dolphins? Because if so, I do have an answer. They help clean the oceans from garbage, they are a form of entertainment, plus, they help scientists out by sending them updates through underwater mail. You know there is an underwater lab where scientists research things right? Well, who do u think delivers mail and stuff? The dolphins. I also read that they give company to those who are handicapped. Like children with disabilities and adults, too. They save lives as well. There are many stories of how dolphins save human lives. How? By pushing drowning people to shore. I read all of this in a children's non-fictional book by the way. =) (Dolphins are by far the best mammals in the planet...they are my favorite)
