Press the outside 2 buttons on the Homelink simultaneously until the begin to blink. Once they do, release the buttons. Now hold the button you wish to program, and simultaneously hold the button from your old garage remote until the light begins blinking rapidly (the Homelink and old remote should be within 1 foot). If you have a "rolling code" garage door opener, you must go and press the "learn" button on your garage door opener and within 30 seconds go and hold the Homelink button in your car until it goes from a slow blink to a fast blink. Once that occurs you are done.

It's behind the glove box assembly but you get at it by first removing the end panel of the dash. There is a plastic tab that you have to release to remove the glove box assembly. Next remove five screws that hold the glove box into place. Three across the top inside the open door and one at each lower corner under the dash. Pull the glove box assembly down from the top to release the tabs holding it in place. Unhook the plug to the glove box light and that should let the whole glove box assembly pull down and lower it out of the way so you can see and find the filter access door behind it. Open the access door by releasing the center tab and pull it down. You can then see the filter, pull it out and replace with a new one. Make sure the arrow on the filter points down showing the direction of the air flow. Reverse the removal procedure to put everything back in place.
