This rarely ever happens with Bulimia as sufferers are often aware of their illness and are fully aware of the dangers, therefore they are of 'sound' mind. Depending on the government, medical professionals can seek a sanction through the government which then places the responsibility on the health professional, which in turn means that they can force the sufferer to seek medical help.
